Watching baby elephants being fed is a must-see for your Time at Nairobi. Bring 3000 KSH and be ready for you and your family to have a great time and memorable pictures.

If you are visiting Nairobi, this is a must do experience. Very cool to see and interact with the giraffes. We got great pictures and videos. I would recommend arriving when they open to avoid the rush. So glad we got to do this!

What a great experience. Having lived in Kenya for about a year now in Nanyuki. I decided to come down to Nairobi and see the park. It was my first time and it certainly did not dissapoint. Thanks to my guide Peter +254711890451. He was just amazing and so professional for the start. His pricing is good and he is a dsnuine guy. With over 10 years experience he know where to fine the animals that others can't. I would recommend Peter to anyone. If you want no frills straight up honest and affordable pricing. Look no further. PETER will take care of you. I will be back

We were so lucky to have a local to drive us and show us the sights . This was my first safari and I did not know what to expect and I was blown away . The size off the park is as large as Wales and it is left to nature running wild . We just travelled around the tracks and easily spotted Elephants, lions, ostrich, hippos to name just a few . The camps and watering holes are teeming with life despite to survive this harsh, challenging environment.

The Karen Blixen Museum is a very interesting and worthwhile tour.

A guide is included in the very cheap entrance fee and our guide was extremely knowledgable and made the tour so much more enjoyable!

Having never watched the film 'Out of Africa' made no difference to the enjoyment of this tour. It is full of fascinating facts about Karen's life and the things she strived to and succeeded in doing.

    Worth a visit.

Not only is Nairobi really busy, it is also really noisy. Normal street scenes can reach the volume of soccer stadiums easily. So welcome Karura with its lush trails, silent rock formations and that little waterfall where you can rest, watching dragon flies and lizards (watching them too). Peace and rest in the daily stress.

The magnificent landscape did not disappoint. There are rolling grasslands and open savannah on an epic scale. Afternoon thunderstorms rolled over the Mara horizon and over the savannah when I was there in November – the light constantly dueling with the shadows as murky clouds covered pale blue skies.

Interesting collections and probably the only way to see all the birds of Kenya some of them them so tiny (or rare) you will not find them outdoors ... The museum is very old school complete with typographed explanatory cards but a treasure chest of beautiful exhibits. A full day trip if the weather should be bad ...

We had wonderful day at the park. See many birds although you need a good camera to actually see them in photos. Different types of animals and some places you can also take a walk.

We did the full day Mida Creek adventure. The snorkeling and seeing the dolphins was great, the boatmen were great and friendly. Take a towel to sit on, as the hard wooden seats are uncomfortable after a while. Also not happy about using the common snorkel, that are washed in the sea water.
I was not impressed with the seafood lunch. I think there are different tours, so I can't say that applies to ALL the tours. If you don't eat seafood, don't do the lunch. Also there wasn't really enough food, it was adequate, but certainly not overly satisfying. Tiny little prawns, and small, small lobsters, the squid was not nice, hard and rubbery, and there were no accompaniments whatsoever. No salad, just a lump of what they called coconut rice and a veg sauce. And warm drinks.
Did not enjoy the village dancing after the lunch, it's ok for tourists, I suppose, but then comes the "magic box" which is for tips. Its awkward, and then the coffee guy offers you freshly ground coffee, and once you say yes, he charges you a 100/= for a teeny weeny plastic cup. RIP off!!
Next time I will do the half day trip and skip the lousy lunch.

Hell's Gate is always a great day out but now the gorge is closed due to a risk of flash flooding, it is useful to have a guide to show you the other nice hike and walk options if you don't want to do a dusty bike ride with the animals.
We were recommended John (Name John Nganga of dustyboots.ke@gmail.com,
WhatsApp no.+254708803364) who was an amazing and informative guide and the first time I've learnt about ( despite many trips to Hell's Gate) the geothermal power plant and the impact of the drought on the ecosystem. He was able to help us organise a visit to cater for the various different ability levels and interest levels and was able to pick us up from our accommodation in Naivasha - so made for a really easy to organise trip.
