    Our entire experience was amazing, Abdul has such an incredible knowledge about Egypt history.. I know more about this incredible civilization.. my heart is in Karnak temple.. i am in love with this magical place.. I highly recommend Abdul.. He is the best.. I can't wait to hear about his new discoveries... hopefully Ramses 8.. 🥰

    Great day!
    Had an amazing day with Sherjeen and the driver that day! (I don't remember the driver's name, but both of them were absolutely absolutely amazing!). Sharjeen was very knowledgeable, and she was very patient with us the whole day. She made the day extra special for us by getting chips and drinks. Her passion for Egyptian history made the tour extra special.

    Unforgettable moments
    Everything was perfect from the quick drive from Hurghada to Louxor!
    The morning after, pick up on time to go for Hot air Balloon!
    The view was unbelievable, stunning, no words. Only about 15 people, so many space.
    After that we met our French speaking guide. He knows very well Luxor and we had a great time together.
    All explanations and answers to our questions!
    After we went for a small ride on the Nile before heading to Karna and ended eating across the Nile.
    Communication was easy and very efficient.
    We recommend him highly !!

    Day tour Guide Haysam is THE BEST ********** (hot air balloon was pretty but a lot of waiting around)
    Overall: HAYSAM WAS THE BEST GUIDE EVER.
    Great day tour and very doable but long day of tour and hot air balloon from (2:45am wake up) 3:20am hotel pick up and finish at 3:00pm.

    If there was more time I would split west bank and east bank to half day tours as the heat really takes it out of you!

    Full day tour: 5* Guide Haysam!
    Haysam, our guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable and detailed about his ancient Egypt knowledge! He was also very patient with us (as we were really hot). He explained everything from basics and was able to answer all of our stupid questions. He showed us all the must see spots and explained the hieroglyphs and drawings on the walls. At Valley of the Kings He recommended us to not go to King Tutankhamun tomb but to go to king Ramesses V & VI tomb. We followed his suggestion and the Ramesses V & VI and the hieroglyphs and drawings on the walls have great colour on them! Very very beautiful and definitely worth the extra money, it was definitely more spectacular than the 3 tombs that is included in the general entry.

    Thank you Haysam for a great day showing us Luxor! What a city! You made our day!

    Hot air balloon review:

    Despite booking for 5:30am, we were messaged via Whatsapp at 8pm the night before that we will be picked up at 3:20am. Luckily we were connected to the hotel wifi! A lot of waiting around (which is the Hot air balloon company’s fault and not this agency fault), we were picked up at 3:20am, took 5 minutes to get to the boat then 3 minutes to take the boat across the Nile river to the west bank but didn’t get on the balloon until 5:30 so a lot of waiting for other guests, logistics could be planned better for a shorter waiting time (again, no fault of this company but the hot air balloon company). The balloon journey was nice, there were 15 balloons in the air in total and we were in the balloon for 35 minutes.
    All in all it was a nice trip and everything went smoothly. It was just a lot of waiting around but was worth it in the end especially if you haven’t been on one before.
    I have been on a hot air balloon before in Turkey and that was a better experience as it wasn’t a lot of waiting around and there are about 50 hot air balloons in the sky. What you would find is that seeing all the other balloons are what makes the view special.

    Great trip
    We did the trip with Roshdy. He picked us up from the hotel right on time (was even early, but told us to take our time). The car was air conditioned and very comfortable and the driver Mohammed was very good.
    Roshdy did a great job of explaining as we went around all the sites including valley of the kings, queens, Hatshepsut, colossi of memnon and others. We felt we saw all the sites, got a thorough talk through the history, were able to explore things after on our own and we never felt rushed and could take our time to explore the places.

    Overall though this was an excellent trip which I would definitely recommend. Being able to see the sites, hear the history and not feel rushed around made it great. Thanks Roshdy!

    Can’t wait to return!
    Our tour started at 3:20am, when we were picked up by our driver to head over to the hot air balloon. The hot air balloon experience was absolutely amazing, just be sure to bring $20 if you want the video on a usb drive where they film your experience. After watching the sunrise, we met Dr. Mo and jumped straight into our tour. The sites were beautiful and Dr. Mo made sure to tailor the tour to our needs. His explanations were thorough, funny and were done under the shade, to keep us cool from the sun. Midway we were taken to Restaurant Paris, which had the most amazing food! Then we changed the Felucca ride to be during the day, to cut down on our time, since the heat was becoming unbearable. Dr. Mo set us up with his best guys who took care of us and made us feel at home on the boat. It was the perfect way to cool off, we even got to dip our feet in the Nile which was refreshing. Finally, we went Luxor Temple and Karnak to finish off our tour. So many beautiful sites to take in. Unfortunately, I was becoming sick from the heat and Dr. Mo was quick to walk us through the shaded areas and get us back to our hotel. I’m so happy with this experience and can’t wait to return. Thank you Dr. Mo for a beautiful day in Luxor, from start to finish!

    Review of: Private Tour Luxor Day Trip from Hurghada
    Amazing - ask for Hossam Rashwan!
    We went on a private tour with Hossam from Sahl Hasheesh to Luxor. Hossam made sure we were safe, he was very attentive and welcoming, very charming and kind. We were picked up in a nice air con car, visited The Valley of the Kings, including some extra tombs as recommended (without him we would have missed the greatest tomb art!) and his knowledge of the area and the mummies was outstanding. We then visited Hatshepsut's temple, then an alabaster factory where purchases were optional but slightly pressured. Luckily the stock was very nice and so were the sellers. Then Colossi of Memnon, then Karnak. Hossam then took us for a very nice lunch and took care with our dietary requirements (gluten free, vegetarians). He then recommended two additional excursions after a brief hotel stay which were a highlight: Feluccia boat trip on the Nile and the light show at Karnak.

    Hossam sent us WhatsApp photos all the way through the trip that showed us Egypt's history, or what was inside the tombs we didn't go in. He was easy to talk to, excellent English speaker and it was a pleasure to meet him, even on such a blisteringly hot day!!

    Thank you, ETP and big thanks to Hossam and our drivers. We hope to be back soon to explore another part of this fascinating, magical country with you!

    Perfect Private Tours
    Great experience with Nasco group. Starting with the coordination and customization of the Tour and get to experience on the ground with airport pickup and touring the valley was flawless.

    To start with Nader Ellias coordination was perfect and he in fact managed to receive us at the airport.

    Tours were private and we were taken care of by our guide Adel Assad. His knowledge of this area and history is immense and he himself is an egyptologist. Keeping the whole family engaged with his knowledge sharing was great.

    Overall a solid experience with the team on the ground.

    P.S. We also used the same company for our Cairo private trips. Asmaa helped coordinate that part and it went very well as well.
