Our guide, Ahmed received us on time at the airport and we began a memorable 4-day trip with him & another family in our group. Ahmed accommodated all of our requests - including coffee & bathroom stops during long drives and while visiting temples. The food was always fresh & delicious and the cruise staff was very friendly & helpful throughout our trip.
During our visits to Abu Simbel, Kornak Temple, Edfu Temple and the other sites listed - Ahmed always shared tons of knowledge and facts about Egyptian history with us. I was fascinated by all of the history surrounding us! Though we didn't get to enjoy the hot air balloon ride (cancelled due to weather conditions), the many sites we visited and the impeccable customer service on the cruise made it worthy!
I would recommend this tour to any family and friends visiting Egypt - especially with our entertaining & knowledgable guide, Ahmed! You will learn all about Egyptian history, enjoy delicious and authentic food and have tons of leisure time to explore as well!
Keep in mind - the cruise stays docked for two nights and won't sail for that long. From the moment we arrived, their attention to detail and friendly demeanor put us at ease. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and floating above the Valley of the Kings and the Nile was nothing short of magical.
I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Luxor. - Jennifer D1 contributionWe came as a family of 5 (kids: 15, 13, & 11). That is by far one of the coolest experiences I have done. Dr. Mo and his wingman were confident professionals. From our pick up service to the landing everything went on time and smoothly. Communication was proactive and very clear. The basket itself held 16, but they are sectioned off for weight distribution and they allowed our family to stick together. If you are deciding between sunrise vs. later (to save money) … sunrise is definitely way better. We booked the 5:30 am, and we got a FREE upgraded to the sunrise flight because there was a chance that the air traffic control would decide winds were too strong. That is customer service! We had a private tour to Luxor that exceeded all expectations! A huge thanks to our guide, Mohammed, a highly knowledgeable and passionate Egyptologist, and Ahmed, our driver, who was always punctual and attentive, ensuring we felt safe throughout the journey.
The perfect itinerary:
Day 1: We departed at dawn from Hurghada in a comfortable private car. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we visited the magnificent temples of Luxor and Karnak, true gems of ancient Egypt. The day ended with a magical felucca ride on the Nile at sunset.
Day 2: The day began with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over Luxor at sunrise, offering breathtaking views of the ancient wonders. We then explored the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. A short camel ride through local villages added a charming touch, allowing us to witness the daily life and traditions of the locals.
Exceptional organization: Every detail was impeccably planned, from the expert guidance to the traditional lunches that introduced us to authentic Egyptian flavors.
We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a blend of history, adventure, and relaxation. Luxor is a one-of-a-kind wonder, and thanks to Mohammed and Ahmed, we experienced it to the fullest.

- David S2 contributionsWe did the 3 Night tour along the Nile for Aswan and Luxor. Lots of early mornings. The boat was amazing - really high quality, great food, great hospitality.
The company could improve with its communication. We were often told a pick up time and then got picked up at a very different time.
All of our egyptologists were very knowledgeable.
On the last day we had Ahmad Yossry as our Egyptologist who was incrediably knowledgable and brought Egyptian history to life. All the staff on the boat were amazingly nice, attentive and made sure we always had anything we needed. Mustafa is the man. It seemed like it was his personal mission to see that our drinks were always full, smile on our faces, and we were always having a great time. Mission accomplished, well done my friend! The food was way better than expected as well.
Our guide was Ahmed Abass, who couldn’t have been better. His knowledge and expertise, as well as his humor, made the entire experience that much more amazing. On top of the history lessons at all the incredible temples and sites, he took care of every detail of the trip for us, always acting in our best interest to make sure it was as flawless and perfect as possible. There are A LOT of boats and cruises to choose from, but I 1000% would recommend this cruise. Book through Here Egypt, ask for Ahmed to be your guide, and ask to be on this boat. You won’t regret it. If you have the time, do the 5 day trip.
