We wandered into Ata Bazar after leaving Luxor Temple, and we stayed in there for well over an hour!! The owner of the shop, Ahmed, was extremely kind and hospitable, he made us tea and let us look around the store hassle free. It says on the sign outside the store “hassle free” and it is actually true! All Egyptian prices so they’re not trying to scam you like a lot of other places charging western prices. All the staff were lovely. Can’t recommend it enough, definitely stop by this shop if you’re visiting Luxor!! Westerners, this is a place you can trust. Thankyou!

I loved Titi for Art. They did a wonderful demonstration of alabaster objects creation. The shop was fabulous. The owner and employees were so kind and helpful. I'll always treasure the small vase and mortar and pestle that I bought.

Total respite from the louder, haggle-based market. Gorgeous items, unique from most other offerings. Got some wonderful beaded bags and pillowcase and some small pieces of jewelry. They have ceramics and textiles too. Prices are marked and even if they were a tiny but higher than what I could have haggled elsewhere, the shopping experience was so pleasant that I was able to linger and ended up buying more than I would at a single market stall.

Had a wonderful experience at this antique artifacts shop in Luxor. Rajab was incredibly kind and helpful, guiding us to exactly what we were looking for and ensuring we got the best price. His knowledge and hospitality made our visit truly special. Highly recommend this shop for authentic finds and excellent service!

We are very happy with the clothes we had made from the cotton/linen fabrics available. The shirts (woman and mans) fitted very well. The dress was adjusted after the first fitting within a few hours. Overall very happy with the service and clothes. We also bought two handwoven scarves from the vast selection. Looking forward to wearing them all!

An artist who is very passionate in his work. Bought some papyrus paintings with customized name and one of the name missing an alphabet and called him the next morning . The shop will only open at 12noon but I had a flight to catch and he asked to go to his shop in 10 mins later. Very touched by his passion in his work.
Price is reasonable, definitely cheaper than those "factory shops" and no bargain required.

Very chatty and friendly owner. Will definitely visit his shop again.

Last photo, the black background tree of life is bought from him, the other one (white background) is bought from Cairo which is double the price. Definitely love his paintings as the birds that he drew looks more alive.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The owner gave genuine and honest information about all the items. It is a fixed price shop and very reasonably priced with high quality products. We bought a linen handwoven shawl and silver locket.

Such a pleasant experience. First of all, the store is directly linked to the weaving area and you see the talented ladies at their looms. They have a lovely variety of cotton fabrics and linens as well. They were also very attentive especially Abdul Raheem.

Always a great place to go. I m back to Egypt and had to visit this shop again. Again a fantastic experience. Beautiful crafts work of local people. No hassle at all, fixed prices. Nobody pushes me to buy something, but when I had questions, Khaled could answer them all.

An Extremely unique store, you truly can’t find jewelry, stones and trinkets with that type of history, integrity and craftsmanship anywhere else. The store owner was very kind and we made lots of conversation. Truly a wonderful place

Lovely shop in downtown Luxor, offers a wide variety of shirts, decorations, books and other souvenirs all at reasonable prices. Staff are helpful without being pushy, and prices are all fixed. A great place to buy all the momentous I wanted to get in Egypt!

Friendly welcome, then left on our own to browse. The owner gave us good honest advice on his articles for sale and we left with a free small gift. Prices are very reasonable. Great shop for doing your present shopping!

My wife and I visited the papyrus shop on a two week tour of Egypt this past December. Our group had toured the Valley of the Kings earlier in the day and our guide stopped in here before returning to our boat on the Nile. It was interesting to see the demonstration on how papyrus is made. We bought a piece of papyrus and had them to print the names of our three grandsons in hieroglyphics. The price for the item was reasonable.
