Very interesting market to stroll through and buy some authentic gifts and souvenirs. Don’t forget to haggle with the shop owners that’s an art you must master if you are planning to buy things there

We visited Caravanserai looking for something more than the usual souvenirs. We found beautiful pottery and an amazing selection of jewelry - perfect gifts for family and friends. The shop also sells fabulous homeware including magnificent brass and glass light fittings.. The prices were incredibly reasonable. The staff were charming and helpful - happy to pick light fittings safely for shipping. Highly recommended.

Souvenirs, clothing, and traditional foods. Lively marketplace with opportunities to haggle for cheaper prices on goods. Experience bustling Egyptian markets without having to be in Cairo.

We requested a stop at Imhotep Alabaster Factory during our tour of Luxor because I had heard wonderful things about it from a friend who had been there. I was not disappointed! The shop has so many beautiful created Alabaster pieces (you can see the work being done on site) at all price points. All kinds of Egyptian Artwork is available and there is a special section with older found pieces, museum quality. I may have gone a bit overboard! I took a couple of pieces with me and also had a few things expertly shipped. They arrived in perfect condition right on time. It was overall a great experience.

Not to be missed and directly across the road from the Colossi of Memnon is the exciting new attraction of the Luxor Art Gallery. The Gallery comprises of a number of beautifully designed spaces exhibiting art works by Egyptian and International artists.
It is one of the first serious galleries in Upper Egypt and well worth a visit.

Can't say enough good things about Ata Bazar. The prices are fixed and very reasonable (way less expensive then in other places). It's nice to take your time and browse without having a pushy salesman to deal with. I feel like I got great deals on my souvenirs

Great handwoven scarfs, also realy nice handwoven trousers for a relaxing evening at home. You can shop without being pressured and the people are very nice! There is no hussle, therefore there is nearly no wiggle room in the price 😉

Prices are of course not the same as on a market in the city, but the quality seems great and most things are made by locals.

You can also see the production of the scarfs in a traditional way.

Great place, I would come here again.

My wife and I got a great price on two very nice hand made cotton pieces. I was very happy with the fit and quality of a white cotton shirt, that also had a hood keep the sun off my neck. My wife loves the scarf she picked out. Very friendly and they take card too.

By far the best experience in the east Bank!!! Mr. Khaled owner of the shop is a very decent man who lets you shop freely from a beautiful collection of Egyptian handmade goods gathered from all around Egypt. Goods are tagged with prices and the quality beats anything else. Good vibes in this place, very good vibes :)))

Shopping in this fixed price shop on the West Bank.of the Nile is a lovely experience. Owner Khaled makes everyone who visits feel relaxed and welcome. There is a quality selection of items ranging from clothing to alabaster and everting in between. Prices are fair and you will always leave with a gift. We liked our first visit so much thst we took a ferry from the east Bank with a couple of travel companions a few days later. Our friends were delighted to experience hassle free shopping. Khaled served us all tea and played guitar while we happily browsed.
