What travelers are saying
- Catherine3 contributionsThis was one of the highlights during my visit to Cairo. When I read about it, I knew I had to go. It all seemed so chaotic. The camels are mainly sold for their meat so keep this in mind if you are a vegetarian. Had a driver with a guide to get there. The drive through the countryside to get there was also worth it. Ladies..take a scarf to wear, dust being kicked up everywhere.Written April 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jet2001546773143 contributionsAZZAB MORSSY is Knowledgeable & Awesome! I am honored to review my Tour Guide ! First, I must say THANK YOU! You were so polite and patience and you lead our tour with a passion that I recognize when you LOVE what you do! He is a teacher, scholar, translator, Egyptologist and wise man. As a first timers to Eygpt mystery and charm I did not realize how aggressive the merchants can be .As a single female He taught me how to simply reply Shukran( thank you) but to keep walking unless of course I choose to shop. He also made sure that I had a thorough understanding both natural & metaphysical of All the Temples we toured from , The Temple of Philae, to Luxor Temple, and onward To the Valley of the Kings and Queen Hepsutshut’s 3 story Temple. In all the Heat of the Sun, walking and moments of thirst . He remained steady patient and on tasks. Please seek him out as your tour guide he is the best!Written September 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lee KBirmingham, UK292 contributionsIt was an amazing couple of hours riding, i was made totally at ease even with my lack of experience. I felt comfortable with the horse i was riding and felt completely safe. Nicola was great at explaining things and the horses she has are well looked after. Riding in the desert with the pyramids in the background has made this experience unforgetable.Written November 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KELL302Dubai8 contributionsWe booked the escape room a few days in advance using Facebook Messenger, but the place was closed when we turned up. Luckily there is a great coffee shop nearby. After 45 minutes my son went back to check and the woman running the shop had just arrived due to traffic. We were the only ones there, but we had a great time. She gave us an extra 30 minutes in the room, and we still needed help as we found it to be a bit tricky! This was a great activity to do with two teenagers who had been doing a lot of walking and sight seeing. It broke up our trip! Highly recommend it.Written January 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Seaside260189395112 contributionsWe would like to thank & recommend Odynovo Tours for our recent visit to Vietnam & Cambodia - especially our guides - Hung, Thai & Victor (Vietnam) & Khemrint (Cambodia) for their assistance / guidance & expertise during this time. Their knowledge & flexibility made our visit truly memorable, so again, can highly recommend Odynovo Tours, guides & drivers as we had limited time for our tour.
Also - back office staff were of great assistance with an unexpected visa issue.Written July 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This tour is a dream come true for anyone who loves ancient history in general, and archeology in particular. There is no better place in the world for that, and I cannot imagine a better tour to experience and learn more about past civilizations.
I had travelled before with Archaeological Paths, and this time was not different: A highly organized process before, during, and after booking the tour. Everything is clearly explained. Every question is quickly and thoroughly answered.
During the tour, you just need to relax and let the experts take you through the magic of the amazing places and experiences. Expectations are properly set at any point, and the Archeological Path team never fails to deliver.
One word for those that still hesitate to tour Turkey due to unfounded security concerns: This is a highly civilized and safe country. Don’t confuse Turkey with other countries in troubled areas!
My final point has to be about our expert tour guide. I had met Suat during our tour to Egypt, and I knew I could expect great knowledge, attention to detail, and organization from him. But he excelled all of that during the Turkey tour. His knowledge and first hand experience of everything related to local history, culture, geography, and economy, took our travel experience to unparalleled heights!Written June 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Each day, we eagerly anticipated our time with him to soak up his insights and passion for history. His ability to explain complex historical topics with such clarity and detail was both refreshing and enlightening. We learned so much and cherished every moment spent with him. Ibrahim is not just a brilliant scholar; he is undoubtedly the best tour guide we’ve ever had. Simply incredible!Written September 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- GoPlaces5495075 contributionsHaving traveled all over the world, High End Journeys is one of the most responsive, flexible, and creative travel companies that we have worked with. Their reach to be able to provide activities usually not available to the public made our experience in Cairo unforgettable.
Onay, who helped us develop our personalized tour showed such positive enthusiasm and flexibility— add a city? Sure, why not!
Ishmael our tour coordinator was waiting for us to step off the plane upon arriving in Egypt and he stayed with us until we left through security days later. Always watching to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, ready with his ‘magic carpet’ to make things happen seamlessly, and coordinating all-of his colleagues and experts so that every minute was spent enriching our knowledge and experience. Similarly, Ibrahim our driver was available 24/7, so that when we suddenly decided to go to the Sound and Light show one evening, he smiled and said, no problem, I will take you. Since we had been in Egypt before, we wanted to make sure we had an Egyptologist with us in key places, and Dalia pleasantly and competently accompanied us those days, filling in history and reading cartouches for us.
In addition to the usual sightseeing, Most memorable were the two special behind the scenes experiences they arranged. The deputy minister of antiquities and one of the archeologists who explored Saqqara took us on a private tour through one of the tunnels 38 meters under the Saqqara pyramid. A remarkable experience, that will stay with us forever.
The second behind the scenes experience was with the conservators at the Grand Egyptian Museum who were preserving King Tut’s jewelry, preserving recently excavated mummies, and stabilizing and restoring 4,000 year old murals and sculptures. Their experience, passion, and attention to maintaining these precious artifacts were overwhelming. They are heroes.Written September 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I especially appreciated how they met us personally at the airports and helped us navigate our way through each step. The tour leader checked on us throughout our journey making sure that we were having a good experience or if we needed anything. I would highly recommend taking this trip. Only wished we had stayed longer and seen more!Written May 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
