This was my most memorable experience on this trip. I’ve been to Cairo once before e so had already seen the pyramids but this is such a special place. You drive through ‘garbage city’ to get there - so called because that’s what the people do and live off. Tremendously poor and Christian. They have built these churches into the caves and it’s a spectacular place. Not just one church but I counted 5 and went into 4. The biggest one is a cathedral. There’s also a shrine to the man that was their priest for many years.
There are carvings in the rock face and it’s wonderful. There’s no charge and I didn’t see a donation box either and would love to donate.
We took a taxi to get there and he waited. Not sure how you’d get there otherwise.

We bougth one ticket for both places: Mosque of Ibn Tulun and this museum. A guide accompanied us and showed this rich collection of the British officer. The building itself is also very interesting with inner yards, fountains, winding corridors, secret rooms, etc. Originally there were two buildings (from 16. century) connected by a covered bridge. We enjoyed the visit, this place was fabulous. A James Bond movie was filmed here in 1977.

Decent collection of Islamic art, related to various dynasties that ruled Egypt. A good museum to browse in 1-2 hours time.

What an amazing experience! Our wonderful guide, Mariam walked us thorough the streets of Cairo to sample several delicious meals, fresh juices and even Arabic Coffee. Well organized, and interesting she brought shared details about the buildings and sites we were experiencing. we capped off the five hour plus walk with a night cap in The Carter Hotel with a lovely outdoor table on the 8th floor and views of the Cairo skyline. Highly recommend.

From the first moments of meeting Ibrahim, you will be captivated by his charm, his knowledge, his passion of Egypt, and above all his genuine kindness. Whatever experience Cairo delivers on hits own, Ibrahim fully unlocks taking you through time starting thousands of years ago and delivering ultimately to the doorstep of Cairo today.
    His is simply THE BEST.

I visited Morocco in May 2024 as part of the “On the Go Tours”. The groups had 9 people in our group including myself, which had the benefit of allowing you to meet other travellers whilst still small enough that you didn’t feel overwhelmed. Our tour guide Omar was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about Morocco, and clearly showed his passion both for his work and for Morocco.

The 7-day tour tour was a good showcase of the highlights Morocco has to offer. The tour started in Casablanca, and included Rabat, Chefchaouen (blue city), Fes, the Atlas Mountains and Marrakech. The places we visited were for the most part really interesting. Accommodation was generally good and the tour company made things as convenient as possible.

I think the tour could be made even better by allocating more time to places like Marrakech and Fes, whilst spending less time in places like the Atlas Mountains which I feel weren’t as interesting as some of the other places we visited. Nonetheless, this is still a tour I’d be happy to recommend to anyone wishing to explore Morocco over about one week.

Thanks to Omar and On The Go Tours for making my trip to Morocco a memorable one!

We had the pleasure of travelling around Egypt with MyEgyTours in August!
We had a day tour with Doaa and it was the highlight of our entire time in Egypt.
She is extremely attentive, takes amazing photographs and shares fascinating information.
It's definitely a day we will never forget.
We have travelled to around 50 countries and Doaa is definitely the standout best guide we have had.
We had other guides in Egypt which could not even compare to the outstanding service provided by Doaa .
If you are booking a tour I suggest you personally request her!

Excellent trip. This was tailor made for our group with very efficient email contact. We were so well looked after from the moment we landed. The guides were really good. The internal flights and transport all worked really well. The Nile cruise was so comfortable and relaxing.

Second trip to Egypt with Mina. Discoveries of little-known sites. Everything went perfectly, Mina was in contact with us every day. We have always slept and eaten in very good places and are happy to have been able to visit Egypt far from the crowds. We'll come back a third time!

We only had a short trip to Cairo (3 days), so we knew we had one good shot to do the pyramids properly - so booking a private tour was the right option for us. I was recommended Walk Like An Egyptian by a friend. We were picked up in a nice air conditioned mini-van, with both a driver and our tour guide Tarek. The tour was full of rich detail, nicely paced and plenty of stops for water and relaxing in the hot temperature. We opted for Khufus restaurant for lunch which was superb - but i've also heard 9 Pyramids and Mena House both excellent. I'd definitely go for the Faloukha ride - a great moment of relaxation at the end of a hot day.
