- Maria T1 contributionWe decided to do a Nile River cruise for our honeymoon. The booking from beginning to end went extremely smoothly and was very easy. Our rides, tours, excursions were planned ahead of time and was even more than what we expected. Our tour manager, Yahya greeted us at the airport and was super helpfil and great for all of our needs. Our tour guide Wael was extremely knowledgeable and was always helpful when we asked questions or needed anything. He made us feel welcomed and we came out knowing alot more than what we initially began with. Dr Tawfik is incredibly knowledgeable and shares his insights and stories with passion and knowledge, making ancient history more accessible and understandable. We had many, many questions and Dr Tawfik answered each one patiently and expertly. When we return to engulf, there is only one guide we will use: Dr T. I felt comfortable with the horse i was riding and felt completely safe. Nicola was great at explaining things and the horses she has are well looked after. The tour advisor Aya Elsabagh presented us with different options to choose from and was so helpful answering all our questions in a timely manner, she is a pleasure to work with. Tour guides in all 3 places were brilliant - Kien in Ho Chi Minh, Maroth in Phnom Penh and Nak in Siam Reap were all fantastic - very knowledgeable and friendly.
Accommodation was excellent in Can Tho and Siam Reap (Angkor Paradise Hotel) - first class, 5 star hotels! Understandably, the hotels in Ho Chi Minh (Bay Hotel - 3 star) and Phnom Penh (Sun and Moon Hotel - 4 star) could not be as good, but they were fine for what we needed, and were in good, central locations.
This was my first "group tour" and I had some initial reservations, but it was a great experience and the people on the tour were lots of fun. I especially enjoyed the Cai Be/Can Tho boat cruise and sampan experience and the floating markets in Cai Rang.
The most emotional part of the tour for me was the Genocide Museum and Killing Fields in Phnom Penh, but a very worthwhile experience to meet some survivors.
Siam Reap was also a favourite, especially the Angkor Wat temple complex, the Phare Circus, the Tonle Sap lake and the Siam Reap town. My only feedback was that we probably didn't have enough time to ourselves in Siam Reap to enjoy the hotels facilities, relax and enjoy the cities sites (maybe an extra quiet day in Siam Reap for me).

I learnt so much about the history of Alexandria, and enjoyed exploring the sites. The team was very warm, welcoming and professional. Looking forward to more tours. - JPlatt1992Xóm Da Me, Vietnam14 contributionsWhere to begin.. We had 2 days in Cairo and put all our faith in Mina and his team, best decision on our trip!
First of all Mina and Doaa were incredibly insightful on both of our outings, answering every question we had with perfect English. We found ourselves laughing all day with our guides and Mr Samir (the driver) having a blast. Both cars we drove in had leather seats with the AC blasting to protect us from the hot Egyptian summer. Finally I also want to call out the safety - we felt very safe with Mina and the team the entire time.
A special shout out to Mina for his FANTASTIC photography skills at the pyramids and the sphinx - my wife and I have been joking all afternoon about how they’re the nicest pictures of us since our wedding!

- JoannaDublin, Ireland2 contributionsI was planning a trip to Cairo to get to know Coptic Egypt better and explore the tradition of the Egyptian church for my PhD research. Initially, it was supposed to be only a research trip. I had visited Egypt many times before but I also wanted to show it to my friends from Ireland and Poland. And their dream, in turn, was to see pyramids and mummies.... Why not? Studying and spending time with friends turned out to be a good idea. I sent an outline of my plans to the Egypt Day Tours office, which had been recommended by my good friend from Dublin, Anto. Soon I received a ready-made plan that fully met our expectations. The wonderful Egypt Day Tours team organized a wonderful time for us, taking care of every detail. We were first greeted at the airport. Professional visa arrangements by the company representative and safe passage with our luggage from the chaotic interior of the airport took us just a few minutes to find ourselves in an air-conditioned car with a smiling driver, Mustafa, and another Egypt Day Tours representative, Mahmoud, who took us safely to the hotel. Our guide, Ayoub, welcomed us on the following day at the Grand Egyptian Museum. He is very knowlegable and willingly answered all our questions and did his best to show us as much as possible. Extending our itinerary, he also offered other places to see, so we had the opportunity to visit many other sites worth visiting. For me, his knowledge of the Coptic Church turned out to be extremely valuable. The company also provided services outside normal working hours; whenever we needed help we could count on it. Mahmoud accompanied us on evening trips to the city, to restaurants and helped with shopping, especially of my favourite spices ... The agency offered free of charge evening transfers as well. Although we spent only five days in Cairo, we have an impression that we have seen much more than we expected... We are already planning another trip with the same agency. - Alexander S8 contributionsFirst time in Egypt and we booked a 8-hour full day tour which included Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian museum and Bazaar with lunch included.
Mina our tour guide messaged me promptly to see if we are ready and as we were having breakfast was kind enough to give us time so we didn’t feel rushed :) He was on time and lucky for us we were the only people on this tour which made us feel like royalty !!! Yessir our driver was kind and very safe while navigating the roads also the van was in great condition.
Mina gave us suggestions on how we wanted to go about our day. We kept pyramids for later as it was a bit foggy in the morning. We did the bazaar. Mina was very knowledgeable and gave a good history of the place. You can feel his passion for his profession. He kept us safe all throughout the tour and showed us few other interesting stops like how paper was made from Papyrus plant. He provided multiple lunch options and once all was done we were back safely to our hotel. Time really flew by. I would definitely recommend Mina as your tour guide specially if it’s your first time here. Can’t wait to come back!!!
