- Cosmopolitan30694021 contributionsWe are impressed with the talent and services provided by Triad. We were a group of 9 Americans; young to retired tourists with various interests. Triad worked with us for 3 weeks to provide a full experience in Egypt. All of the staff members where professional and genuinely cared about creating a dream holiday. The guides are very knowledgeable and made the most of each visit to a site. The guides worked hard to help us to un-layer the complex history of Egypt.
We started in Cairo, then went to Hurghada to enjoy the Red Sea, we did a little touring of the beaches and then the Eastern Desert where we took the mountain pass to Luxor.
Next came a balloon ride to better understand the geography of the tombs and temples before proceeding up the Nile on a boat. The staff of the boat where attentive and helpful to accommodate my food allergies. They made sure I stayed safe with my food choices and in fact, I was often presented with food that was individually prepared for me.
The boat provided many opportunities to see other sites as we moved into Upper Egypt. We got to experience every type of boat on the Nile in this journey and when we arrived in Aswan, we even managed to see both dams, the Peace Memorial and the Philae Temple complex and a Nubian village.
We came back to Cairo and then headed to the Sini Peninsula to explore the mountains of St. Catherine's and the red and white canyons.
From the moment you arrive in Cairo, the Triad team makes sure you move through all formalities quickly and easily including entry into all the sites. While everyone wants to see the pyramids, Triad also immerses you in the full cultural experience of Egypt.
We always felt totally safe on all of our adventures and excursions within Egypt.
Additionally, a shout out to the excellent professional drivers provided by Triad. - wpc1027Pittsburgh, PA25 contributionsMy recent trip to Egypt included the land operator Planet Tours & Travel. I wanted to review them separately from the travel company I booked the full excursion through (Exoticca-Avoid At All Costs!!!).
Planet Tours provides some outstanding customer service. We had great reps within the company (Samuel, Omar, etc...) as well as an amazing freelance guide, Fady. They work with you every step of the tour, making sure that your check-in, transportation, and even arrival/departure are seamless.
However, I was not crazy about the day-to-day organization of the trip. I understand the need for some of it (including early mornings to avoid the heat), but much of the trip was rushed and exhausting. You are often to tired and too hungry (LUNCH BREAKS PLEASE!!!) to actually enjoy some sites. Ahmed and Kemet travels gave us an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives.
The hotels Ahmed booked for us were top notch.
The pick ups were ALWAYS on time from day 1 to day 7.
I always wanted to travel to Egypt and Kemet made this dream a reality.
This was comfortably the best vacation of my life.
Ahmed balance both tour and relaxation perfectly.
He enabled us experience the history, the food, the people, the culture and the country all in good measure.
