- Lengmui852Greater London, UK264 contributionsGreat place for books & hanging out as well as another photo opportunity, it’s inside a shopping mall so if you want to go shopping you can, but if you don’t want to, you can just stay behind in the library & hang there as there are seats & it’s very clean.Written November 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FaismohLagos, Nigeria214 contributionsThe business I had in Seoul was at the World Trade Center Seoul located at the COEX so I was there everyday for 10 days and visited every facility located there.
I’m particularly impressed with the Airline check in available there though it’s restricted in terms of airlines served. The Underground Starfield Mall is impressive and offers a wide range of shopping opportunities. There’s a good library located within the Mall. The Bongeunsa Temple is located just opposite the Mall. There’s also the “Gangnam Style Hand” that offers a great photo opportunity. It’s definitely worth a visitWritten November 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This was so much fun and the lady was super kind and nice !

Recommend biz tourists near Gwanghwamoon area who do not have much time to look aroud Seoul or Korea. - OldjackGreater Melbourne, Australia29,232 contributionsThis was a traditional style Korean house used as a promotional place for the Bukchon Village (Northern Village) and was an interesting depiction of old-style housing in Korea. It was well done and dded to the experience of the walk through Bukchon, a place that recalls old-style Seoul.Written September 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JHLSeoul, South Korea9,391 contributionsThis is a Hanok library on Inwangsan Mountain. Come by and get relaxed in a quiet area.
- The location is close from Changuimun(Jahamun). Local bus(green) #1020, #7022 and #7212 goes there. There's almost no uphill until there. Good to visit together with Inwangsan Trail, Changuimun Gate(Jahamun) or Yun Dong-Ju Literary Museum.
- A free Hanok library. Really relaxing with an artificial waterfall.
- This is quite new and well-maintained.Written October 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Located the 1st floor of the building, there’s cafeteria sold all of common Korean food like Donkatsu, omelette, fried rice, spicy Korean beef soup, soft tofu soup, and ramen, the cheapest one. Also there’s so many people in front of kiosk to order the food but the machine works pretty well.
The food, Donkatsu, came out of kitchen after 10mins in a tray with steamed rice, yellow pickled radish, kimchi and miso soup after I ordered it. The Donkatsu was very crunch out of a frier but a little bit tough to chew it even though I cut it with a knife into small pieces.
However it’s pretty much affordable compared to the nearby famous plethora of Donkatsu houses, and I am still doubt why there’s so many Donkatsu houses across the library.
Adults or kids, young or older alike they enjoyed their food with some beverages in the glass covered fridge. And if you need desserts or chips to accommodate they also sell store bought things at the entrance separately.
This was a nice cafeteria experience while I visited Namsan Library.Written February 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The wifi connection is great; the staff are helpful and friendly. There is a cafeteria which serves inexpensive meals (around 4000-7000 won). The compound was also green and calming.Written November 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Legopod294 contributionsThe Templestay Information Center is right across the street from the Jogyesa Temple. There are a few activities that you can try out in the first floor - such as making paper lotus flowers and performing a tea ceremony - and there's also a Buddhist restaurant in the 5th floor of the building. You can learn more about Buddhism in this center, and I think they also offer temple tours.Written September 2, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JaromChaoRangsit, Thailand52 contributionsSeoul national university is the best one in South Korea,I went to there on the Mid-Autumn day that is the most important holiday of Korean people. Many presents took their children to there,to make them up in studying. The university is big and a little far from downtown. You need to take a bus to there under subway. And I visited the College of Arts, because I am majoring in English Literature and Culture. But I think maybe students who like science would like there.Too much scientific surrounding to scientists. The library is big and excellent, you can study there with a quiet.Good luck to applicators.Written October 1, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
