The mountain was located in Seoul, and low mountain, so there was easy to climb with another mountain. About 1 hours, could climb to top, and the road was well-managed. There was good to hiking easily and slowly, and could walk with Fortress trail. Easy mountain to climb.

An easy, 30-minute hike up this mountain -- a hill really -- brings you to a simple park with a colorful pavilion from where you can enjoy a magnificant view of the Han River and the southern side of Seoul. It's worth taking a trek up the hill during both a clear day and night, providing two divergent but gorgeous views of the city. Recommend hiking up the lighted path on the east side (via Eungbong subway station) at night and going up the west side via one of several trail heads near the Eungbong Community Center during the day. (Bus No. 241, 421, 08).

My wife and I walked this mountain. The mountain was not high, and good to walk slowly. Because there was not rough, there was good to walk with light heart. The view on the way was very good, and it was cool with wind. Many people enjoyed walking, and the road was well-managed. There was very good place to mountain beginners.

This mountain was located around the Blue House, so there was supervised the police, and had entrance time limitations. Because of the North Korea's attack by guerrillas a few decades ago, there was still restricted area. But the traveler was no problem to climb this mountain. There had beautiful Seoul view, and could walk with Fortress trail. In Seoul, there was one of good mountain to enjoy walking.

This is the mountain park in the neighborhood.
The highest peak is about 160m from the sea level and it's really easy to climb.
Good to walk for 1~2 hours.

    - One of starting points is the public park behind Jungnang-gu Office. It's a good place to spend time with children.
    - Since this is not a touristic area, it's not crowded and there's almost no visitor from out of neighborhood.
    - Dule-gil(walkaround trail) takes about one and a half hour. Walking in the forest is really nice. It starts from many points in the neighborhood and really easy. Some tracks are slippery and not recommend during rainy day by the way.
    - A lot of outdoor gyms and neighbors do some workout there.
    - There's a beacon on top. It was a place to send signals in the past. A little snack bar is close and you can have some foods there. It take about half an hour to reach the top.
    - Some Buddhist temples are nearby. Better to visit during May that Buddha's Day is in.

My wife and I visited this mountain for hiking. Yongmasan is one of the three densely located mountains next to Mt. Acha and Mt. Mangu.Perhaps the course going up from Yongmasan Station is the steepest compared to other courses. On the way to top of Yongmasan had many stair and good view. The time to the summit is not long, and it is a course that you can enjoy as if taking a slow walk.
