There are several huge parks in Seoul. This is one of them and I think this is the best public park.

    - The location is quite away from touristic areas. Line #6 Dolgoji Station is the nearest. But, it's also too far to walk. Take #147 bus to get there.
    - The highlight of the park is the free observatory. It's on the hill and you should get in two funiculars to get there. Walking is better and faster if you're healthy. The view from the open observatory on top is wonderful.
    - Unlike Seoul Forest, this isn't so distracting with many bicycles.
    - Many people relaxing in tents.
    - There are Hanok house, restaurant, deer farm, pond, pavilion, convenience store, cultural center, etc.
    - Better to visit during cherry blossom or fall foliage.

This mountain was good to enjoy climbing near Seoul area. There had various climbing course, and beautiful view. This mountain's course was not easy, but not hard. Though there was a little hard to me, but interesting. The various course made me not tired, and very good feelings on the top. About 4 hours, we could enjoy this mountain.

My wife and I pass through for our way to Mt. Yongma. The park was well-managed and had various facilities. This park's signature was Artificial Falls and had climbing center. Except this facilities, there had tennis court, soccer area, and many sporting equipment. Excellent to resident and climber, I think.

My wife and I visited this mountain for hiking. Yongmasan is one of the three densely located mountains next to Mt. Acha and Mt. Mangu.Perhaps the course going up from Yongmasan Station is the steepest compared to other courses. On the way to top of Yongmasan had many stair and good view. The time to the summit is not long, and it is a course that you can enjoy as if taking a slow walk.
