We went here on the recommendation of a colleague and it was disappointing. The show was not that exciting and it was so crowded that you could not enjoy it. I would not honestly bother.

The bridge was built in 1970. Until 1984, the bridge was called the Seoul Bridge. Mapo Bridge across the Hangang River. Initially, the bridge symbolized prosperity and happiness, but later it acquired the infamous place for suicides.

This is the bridge to acces Seonyudo Park from Southern Seoul.
The huge arch bridge like this is rare in Korea. It's good to walk.
The location is close from Seonyudo Metro Station.
At the starting point, there's an elevator from the ground. Pretty easy to pass. But, a wheelchair might be tough to climb up the arch.
Going to the end, there are nice high trees and great view of Hangang(Han River).

One of the most spectacular bridges, in my opinion. Pontoon bridges were moored at the site of the modern bridge, but the Han River did not have fixed crossings until the completion of the nearby Hangang Railway Bridge in 1900. Plans for a road bridge were not realized until 1917, when the original pedestrian bridge was built and opened. It was damaged by a flood in July 1925. In October 1935, the second span was built and tram tracks were laid. Shortly after the start of the Korean War, South Korean troops bombed the bridge in an attempt to slow the invasion as it was a lonely river crossing. The explosion of the Hangang Bridge killed between 500 and 1,000 people, mostly civilian refugees, who were not informed of the plans to destroy the bridge. The bridge was not fully restored until 1954. In 1982, additional lanes were added and it was renamed Hangang Bridge.

The construction of this pretty bridge began on October 18, 1978 and ended only in 1984. The bridge also runs metro line 4.

The bridge was built in 1975. The length of the bridge is 1320 meters. At the end of the 20th century, reconstruction took place. The bridge has a spectacular red arch.

I visited this area after lunch for taking a walk. This bridge was laid across small river, and made by old stone. Though there had historic significance, there was only trail around this remains. There was laid in secluded area, so it is inconvenient to visit for sightseeing. Need more management for accessibility.
