Numerous tiny streets are present. On the middle of the street, there are fast food samples. You may enjoy locally fast cuisine, kebab, prawns, pork ribs, and potatoes that are freshly prepared while strolling about.

The views of the city are spectacular and well worth the price of the cable car ride and entrance fee to the tower. Avoid the rather overpriced restaurants and bars.

Located very near my hotel, I frequented this attraction for dining and eating. Simply watching the crowd as I had my coffee break in the area was interesting. There are small alleys where the restaurants, shops, etc are located.

At the main streets, I noted art galleries, spa, hanok shops, 711 stores, etc. Glad that it is near my hotel, no need for bus or metro rides to reach it.

The traditional houses and designs are very eye catching, particularly with the Seoul N Tower backdrop. I was going to skip it but decided to swing past and it was worth it in the end. Pictures don't do it justice but I did walk away with mixed feelings.

The local residents must have to deal with such a barrage of tourists, many less considerate than others and even on a quiet afternoon just people everywhere. But if you can enjoy the moment and overlook all that, it is actually quite a nice place the traditional houses on a hilly setting makes for a mostly relaxing scenary to enjoy.

Don't forget the Hanok museum to give you a beter insight into the dsigns and traditional life if you can, and the small food stalls towards the main streets.

Please, please be considerate of the local residents, these are their houses. Save the rest for the rebuilt palaces and free hanok attractions (such as the one in Namsan or head towards the Korea Folk Villiage.

Make sure to visit the observation deck at dusk on a clear day for some beautiful views. Great digital media presentation leading up to the actual observation deck.

trendy nice surprise as we emerged after dark from the Good Morning City across the road (after a spa in Sparex). It looks totally different during the day and at night....cool to hang out and we tried the indoor serene nature experience by a certain nature brand....forgot the name...and consider it was so full of people just outside....

I went to this famous market for food. I saw stalls selling snacks and meal, but decided to go to the small restaurant instead as I do not speak Korean at all. The restaurant has the proper menu with pics that is helpful enough. The food was good enough.
As for shops, there are varieties of items from fresh ingredients to textile. There are some shops selling souvenirs, too. I think tourists come here more for the food.

One of the most imposing gates in Seoul protecting Gyeongbok Palace. The most outer gate and the grandest in that palace.

Most days at the time of visiting there are 3-4 changing of the guard performances (2 on the outside and 2 on the inside) they also differ in the changing style depending on which change performance you are witnessing. Check with the information or on their website for tour times.

Worth the changing of the guards to see their reenacted costumes for varying guards!

Walking distance from King Sejong and Admiral Yi monuments.

Fun place, go with a group, or you might find yourself next to some Germans who complain about how slow everything is (it's not), russian or muslim guys who think they are owed prime service and women. International tourists really detract from the native experience.

I visited this attraction after my DMZ Tour Bus dropped me off across from it. Note that seniors can enter this attraction for free, just show your proof of age.

There is a beautiful fountain at the center of the area. There are 3 buildings to visit here, my favorite one is the one that shows intricately embroidered panels. Took a lot of photos of the embroidered exhibits here.

The other 2 buildings have their own exhibits. Feeling tired of walking, I simply took their pictures from outside.

Find the cutest coffee shops and small restaurants in this street. It is more like a small village with multiple Korean houses turned into the perfect locations for dates and coffee with friends! I always recommend people to go there at least once when they visit Seoul.

Unlike some of the other palaces in Seoul, Changgyeonggung felt less crowded, making it easier to take in the beauty of the architecture and surroundings at my own pace. It’s a perfect spot for those looking to enjoy a more tranquil side of the city’s history.

Please visit the board game café in front of Ewha Womans University. This was a unique experience for me. The games are fun, and the interior is amazing.
