The place has nice open grounds for visitors to wall around. A little touristy but always a pleasure to visit and take a walk especially during the falls when the weather is cool and the leaves are changing colour.

Great neighborhood to explore by foot, several streets filled with food stalls, color, and excitement. Korean popular culture at its most natural, must experience!

Beautiful palace, not as grand and large as Geyongbokgung. Designed as secondary palace and better designed on an 'auspicious' site. It houses one of the king's most favoured gardens in the back requiring a tour and separate entry ticket for most to enter.

Get in early to get a ticket for the tour if you wish to visit the secret garden (well worth it in my opinion). Or you can purchase it the day before (not on the day) online if you wish to skip the lines (also well worth it).

Best all around palace in Seoul.

it’s simply breathtaking there, i’ve been there 3 times so far and i’m always surprised by how beautiful the view is. it’s okay during the day, but it's beautiful there at the evening, which is why i recommend going there at the evening. since there isn't much to do, i recommend just enjoying the moment and the beautiful view! and don’t forget to take some pictures!!

Must see and experience spot in seoul. i came here with my family and everyone loved it. walking there during day is awesome but night walk is romantic. it’s equivalent to the central park in New York. The Jewel of Seoul!

The traditional houses and designs are very eye catching, particularly with the Seoul N Tower backdrop. I was going to skip it but decided to swing past and it was worth it in the end. Pictures don't do it justice but I did walk away with mixed feelings.

The local residents must have to deal with such a barrage of tourists, many less considerate than others and even on a quiet afternoon just people everywhere. But if you can enjoy the moment and overlook all that, it is actually quite a nice place the traditional houses on a hilly setting makes for a mostly relaxing scenary to enjoy.

Don't forget the Hanok museum to give you a beter insight into the dsigns and traditional life if you can, and the small food stalls towards the main streets.

Please, please be considerate of the local residents, these are their houses. Save the rest for the rebuilt palaces and free hanok attractions (such as the one in Namsan or head towards the Korea Folk Villiage.

Located very near my hotel, I frequented this attraction for dining and eating. Simply watching the crowd as I had my coffee break in the area was interesting. There are small alleys where the restaurants, shops, etc are located.

At the main streets, I noted art galleries, spa, hanok shops, 711 stores, etc. Glad that it is near my hotel, no need for bus or metro rides to reach it.

This is the neighborhood where young people dress outrageously to be seen - and it's fun for the rest of us to watch. Both parties get what they come for.

We did as everyone else does: bought a large iced coffee and found some benches where we could sit and observe all the funny, quirky, and sexy people passing by. It's better than watching a movie.

trendy nice surprise as we emerged after dark from the Good Morning City across the road (after a spa in Sparex). It looks totally different during the day and at night....cool to hang out and we tried the indoor serene nature experience by a certain nature brand....forgot the name...and consider it was so full of people just outside....

Located in Insadong near culture street easy to visit. I personalyl found it a bit underwhelming but respect it's historical significance.

Visit if you're in the area, or really into temples. The whie pin eand scholar tree are estimated to be about 500 years old. Very calm in the middle of the city, but I recommend the one in Gangnam on the hill near the COEX centre for something more to see.

    Go hungry!
    So many food options!
Everything from blood sausage to live octopus.
They do have some souvenirs also but that is not the highlight.

Beautiful Cathedral. Beautiful place of worship. Mass in English at 9am Sunday was full! Meaningful celebration.

One MUST go down to the basement of the cathedral! The restaurants, cafe and shops are an unexpected treat! Plus there is this amazing bakery here. They have superb breads baked fresh.

I knew that they were baseball mad in Korea so wanted to check it out when in Seoul for a recent business trip. What a great night out!!

Bought tickets along the first base line above the home cheer squad. That was jut as entertaining as the game!!

Plenty of food choices inside and outside the stadium. You can bring the food bought outside in with you if you like. Either way is a good choice.

If you’re unsure about buying merchandise outside at the club store, you won’t miss out once inside with more outlets inside.

Can’t wait to go back next time.
