We heard interesting stories, saw details that I would not have noticed on my own, and generally spent a great day together. There's a ton of food (and drinks, at the last two stops) offered and they're very generous with portions/having seconds available for those who would like them. Like most Korean food tours, I'm not sure that vegetarians would get as much out of this as non-vegetarians, so consider that when booking. It's one of the must do tours when visiting South Korea to learn about the conflict between North and South Korea. We were glad that we did this tour. Our tour guide Vincent was excellent. Seorak’s Sinheungsa Temple & the Naksan temple. Both temples are beautiful. Unfortunately, the autumn colors in Mt.Seorak was no longer at its peak, so it looked dreary & gray. The hotel pickup made it very easy and the confirmation of arrangements the day before was a comfort for us on our first trip to Seoul. Our guide was excellent and handled all organisation throughout the day with ease. Her knowledge on historical, geographic and cultural elements of Korea was fantastic. The small group option was definitely worth it compared to some of the very large groups we saw throughout the day.

Our guide Enoch was pleasant and always happy to accommodate. It was interesting to see parts of Seoul that we wouldn’t have necessarily seen on our own. Be prepared for a lot of walking and dress appropriately for the weather. We went in December when it was cold at night. Even with a record snowfall in Seoul, every detail was thought of. We felt we had more than enough time at each stop, did not feel rushed. Great communication before and during the tour!
