What travelers are saying
- OntarioTraveler9Burlington, Canada787 contributionsThe palace covers a lot of ground. If you want to visit, I suggest that you do a little bit of homework to pick out areas/buildings that may interest you, or you spend time looking at things that may not be of great interest to you. Admission is free for seniors, but you need to show your passports to get in. Don't get into the line for tickets, just walk up to the attendants at the gate. There are changing of the guards during the day, and you will be well advised if you take your spot maybe 10 minutes before the show, or you will be dealing with the crowds. The palace is impressive but not glamorous. I don't see descriptions to various buildings all the time, so you may not know exactly what you are looking at.Written December 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I used the cable car to go up, which is pricey, but also nice experience. - Ben KingLondon, UK329 contributionsThis is a really cool spot. At first you notice the big statues, which are inspiring alone, then you see this huge square covered in flags from all over the world. Each flag is a testament to the specific countries that aided South Korea in the Korean War. As you move further along the memorial you can see dozens of real life war machines that were used during this conflict. Planes, tanks, and there’s even a ship you can walk through and explore. It’s a cool spot to seeWritten November 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
