What travelers are saying
- Yvonne S1 contributionI had to come here before my trip to Japan. This is a really cool temple/palace to check out. Though there were many people visiting, it was a really clean and well preserved area. I love this style of architecture.Written December 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

I used the cable car to go up, which is pricey, but also nice experience. Queus were huge.Written November 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ben KingLondon, UK329 contributionsThis is a really cool place to check out in Seoul. It’s in a perfect location, near the grand palaces, Bukchon Hanok Village, and Gyanghwamun square. There’s a lot of nice shops selling souvenirs, we bought a wonderful water colour painting. There’s some street food and restaurants too. What’s not to like?!Written November 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ben KingLondon, UK329 contributionsThis is a really cool spot. At first you notice the big statues, which are inspiring alone, then you see this huge square covered in flags from all over the world. Each flag is a testament to the specific countries that aided South Korea in the Korean War. As you move further along the memorial you can see dozens of real life war machines that were used during this conflict. Planes, tanks, and there’s even a ship you can walk through and explore. It’s a cool spot to seeWritten November 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KgfranksLos Altos, CA42 contributionsIt was very interesting to walk through the historic neighborhood where people still live today. Apparently, there are Michelin star restaurants there as well, but we didn’t go to any. People are around with signs to remind you to be quiet as you walk through the area, since people live there. Definitely worth going. Based on the costumes we saw, it’s a popular K-drama site to visit. 😊. I wished I was dressed up too!Written November 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ben KingLondon, UK329 contributionsIncredible palace. The centre piece isn’t even the main attraction in my book. There’s so many little side passages and alleyways hiding away magnificent buildings. You can get lost as you weave your way through this palace, in awe at its beautiful architecture and history.Written November 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ben KingLondon, UK329 contributionsMuseum with 3 floors. Floor one is ancient and medieval Korea, which is really intriguing. The artefacts are centuries old. As you move up you can see various art pieces and sculptures from pivotal moments of Korean history. The top floor is dedicated to the rest of the world. I was really surprised at how many artefacts the museum has from places like Greece and Rome. The museum blew me away (and it’s free!!)Written November 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brook E3 contributionsBukhansan National Park is a nature lover’s paradise! The hiking trails are challenging but totally worth it for the stunning views at the top. The mix of rugged mountains, lush forests, and ancient temples along the way makes the experience unforgettable. The air feels so fresh, and it’s amazing to have such a peaceful escape so close to Seoul. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just looking for a day outdoors, this park is a must-visit!Written December 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sophia28 contributionsA good place to cool down in the summer heat. You can put your feet in the water and sometimes people sing there. It’s a great place to take a walk or to sit down.Written November 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LastMinuteLarry454 contributionsNice beach but very windy, lots of sand blowing about, so watch your eyes! The beach benefits from very easy access and close to convenience stores and eateries. On our visit there was a huge music (gospel?) event which consumed most of the beach, but hey hoo we joined in for free and was given a foam sitting mat and bottled water - very kind and thoughtful, well done to the organisers (whoever they were!)Written December 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - wayne fBurlington, Canada24 contributionsGreat view after reasonable hike. Lots to see for half a day. Great to see traditional women divers in heavy fishing village. Best meal had at a spot just as coming down from mountain that sells Torando potat.
