- Nina F3 contributionsSo I was visiting Tbilisi in October and there was all this hype about this cub named Bassiani and its the best in Europe, exclusive not all can get in bla bla bla bla.... ok well I was not expecting to get in based on the fact that I was not verified. ok so I did get in. I've traveled around the world and definitely explored world class night clubs and festivals from Paradiso to burning man and Berghain to Rich's in San Diego and Hakkasan in Vegas to Europe to Asia. having said this Im going to give you some pros and cons.
Pros: -the sound system is pretty rad, especially at the main dance hall.
-the drinks are cheap
-there is lots of leg room and plenty of space to explore and walk if you get bored of one corner of the club.
-people are friendly ( once you get passed the door)
-unisex bathrooms
-none discriminative atmosphere once you get past the face control
cons- very smokey
-filthy bathrooms ( no toilet paper in any of the stalls)
-drug infested space ( I mean all the clubs have drugs but this place is an anarchist territory for all of city's drug users) . several times throughout the night had to check on people laying lifeless on the sides of the hallway who seemed to have overdosed. ( a little sad)
- lack of lighting and the visual stimulus, the beam lights are the only lights I got to see while I was there, from 12-7 am so the light show is very minimal and anti climactic to say the least.
-no age control, I saw kids as young as 16 doped up on stimulants and alcohol.
the final conclusion for me personally is that Im glad I went and got to see the place for myself, but as far as recommendations well , if you have never been to any clubs before anywhere, this will by far be the best you've ever been to. but on a world scale I have to say , this did not meet my expectations, it was dark dirty and dingy full of smoke and people drugged out of their f-ing mind.I highly recommend the venue do 21+ age control for the venue. also please hire extra janitorial staff to keep the bathroom cleanliness standards up.
