Paula set us up with bikes (nothing fancy, but they worked), plus locks / helmets, and a useful map of her favorite places in the city. - J S1 contributionThe tour we took was a free tour, the "Colombian Conflict Tour: War, Drug Trafficking and Peace." Our tour guide was Natalia and she was amazing - very knowledgeable about Colombia's political history - she was able to answer every question that was thrown at her - and very friendly and helpful. I learned so much. It was perfect for me.
I will add, though, that this tour covers the history of Colombia - not just Bogota. I've taken other tours of Bogota, and they involved going somewhere and then the guide tells you what historical thing happened in that location. Since the events that this tour covers happened all over the country, there's much less of that.
For me, that was fine. I learned so much, and I'm very happy that I took this tour. The best motorcycle tour company by far in the country and probably in Latin America.

My expectations were met and exceeded. From renting the motorcycle to an amazing customer oriented experience. Miguel is an excellent guide and instructor. The group stayed at a Finca where we were treated as family. I learned in three days what I didn't in decades of riding on my own. The scenery is spectacular as well. I had limited time in Bogotá and therefore needed a customised itinerary. Manuel and Maria Theresa were extremely flexible from the outset. They were prompt and accessible on communication, and efficient on delivery. For example, as I was only doing the ride halfway through my time in Colombia, they picked-up the bike on arrival, then stored and built it for me in readiness for the big day, and even organised a spare road bike as a back-up option.
On the day, they ensured I stayed safe on the road by accompanying me on a motorbike throughout the ride while the car went up ahead and carried food and clothing, and met up with us every hour or so. The food was just as I wanted it and felt like a portable feast!
The 80+Kms of climbing was an incredible experience and simply euphoric. We were blessed with perfect weather on the day - warm throughout and bright sunshine on the summit. Manuel and Maria Theresa even gifted me a personalised plaque to mark the ascent. They made this trip one to remember for a lifetime: a perfect cycle adventure in Colombia.
