The cable car ride up is thrilling, giving you a slow reveal of the city below, which gets more stunning the higher you go. At the top, the wind is refreshing and you feel amazing. A great spot to visit.

Our tour group had one hour lunch break in this neighborhood where we had choice of restaurants and local foods. Older buildings were either two or three stories either brick or colorful facades.
We had lunch including meat lasagna, empanadas and a carafe of vine for merely $10.-

As a foreign in Colombia and loving hiking in new place we took the holiday to experiment the Parque Entre Nubes. The way to get there is not obvious but with GPS and the help of the police around the way we found the entrance. Just to get there is already an adventure with narrow streets and people sharing the road with cars, buses, dogs, etc. Reminded me of the "favelas" in Rio de Janeiro. When we were two blocks away we asked the police nearby where the entrance was and he shown us they way and told us to be very careful. At the entrance the guard alone with a dog told us there is no guarantee to be safe hiking and we saw couple of people entering that did not look good. The view was spectacular, but risking the family safety was not worthy, so we walked a little bit there and did not few safe enough to continue. 3 hours round trip that was lost....That's unfortunate.

Came over to this place for a walk for the first time, and found a charming walk full of Bogotás past, with its first aqueduct, and one of the first mills ( now in renovation ) with great views of Bogotá and a peaceful walk during ( opened only weekends at the moment ) and in the presence of police for peace of mind during its length.
Recommended for those looking to see some nature right in the center of the city

I've visited this place many times, it has an amazing view. The owner is very nice guy. You feel there as in family. Delicious typical food of the region. Recommended "Trucha" (kind of fish). There are you can ride, ecological walks, celebrate birthday with your family and friends, is near to Sumapaz Páramo, large paramo in the world. So, to enjoy a nice day in contact with nature. This is the place!
