This group of completely free museums links several old buildings together. As you walk around, you will likely cross back and forth between the Old Mint, Botero Museum, and an art collection. There are a few signs in both Spanish and English, but most everything is Spanish only, which is understandable. We made sure to be there for the daily English tour at 3 PM which departs from the Art museum entrance. The tour covered a few highlights of all 3 museums but definitely gave us a much better understanding of the artist, Fernando Botero. Pictures are allowed everywhere in the museum except for one room that contains impressive religious relics.

Simply breathtaking interior with a very good collection of religious art. Well worth a visit and the very small fee. Excellent

It’s part of a series of three museums and a combined cafe (which is excellent). The art is ok and most of it done by the same artist. I believe it’s Fernando Botero. You have to like his taste.

The last time I visited this historic house was in 1985, and the changes made are very good, and gives you an idea of the origin of the Independence of Colombia. Everyone should visit it and I highly recommend it. On week ends, it tends to be quite crowded, but still it is worth it.

Nice collection in an interesting building, but not very big. Like all of the state museums in Bogota, very inexpensive admission.

A small not very known exhibition. We heard about it in the graffiti tour. The exhibitions cover almost 3 decades of the bloody conflict in Colombia. It is very important and gives background to today's Colombia. The photographs are powerful and tell a sad story of conflicts and war.

Hard to tell what this is all about. Some pieces are confronting, some interesting and obviously a modern history of Bogotá.
