What travelers are saying
- craig_travelerSan Francisco, CA365 contributionsVery high end by and large. Bong expect a budget experience if coming here. The bast aspect in my opinion is the food court on the top floor. Lots of choice and nice outdoor seating areas.Written October 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Christian CBogota, Colombia58 contributionsIt’s a great mall to shop in... I live close to it, it’s the one I always come, for shopping, for movies and even to take my son to play grounds. There are discounts everyday.Written March 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Abovetheclouds2,321 contributionsNice mall. Shops are OK. There is like an 'upmarket' supermarket too and pharmacist. I went as I had a layover in Bogota and I had seen all the other tourist attractions. Good way to kill time. Free wifi. Usual eateries, coffee shops and a cinema. Don't make a special trip but if you need to buy something or kill time like me!Written September 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - A. Buitrago14 contributionsThis mall is no longer called Calima, it's Mallplaza, it's really huge in size and always seems to be unfinished, there's a lot of empty space, Ikea has not open as of today, in the top floor there is a old food court that seems to be in the process of remodeling and a new food court. You may try delicious burgers there at the grill station burger or just have some coffee at Juan Valdez or Varietale on the first floor. Varietale has two shops and there's selva Nevada ice cream in one of them. There's also Starbucks if that's your thing. This mall is next to Paloquemao market so you may visit if you need to use the restroom, grab a bite, do some shopping or get on a cab. It's pet friendly so on weekends you may see locals hanging out with their dogs, some are really huge and pretty. It's nicely decorated on Christmas and there's activities for children.Written September 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MissHK2009Hong Kong, China6,013 contributionsI had 8 hrs of stopover at Bogota airport. Wanted to have some fun but was afraid of traffic jam on the way to and from downtown. Finally visited this mall which is 7 min ride from airport. I took uber which charged slightly less than COP 20000.
The mall is large with cinema and a big supermarket called "exito". Quite many shops. When I left, I called uber as well which is very efficient reliable and affordable.Written April 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hearssayBogota, Colombia27 contributionsIt sparkles at night. So that's pretty cool. It has a lot of nice stores, it's just your average mall though. Nothing that makes it stand out. If you live close to it, then it's probably a convenient place to have around.Written January 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AMsaysThornhill, Canada4,905 contributionsBogota’s best-known market also known as the District Market was founded in 1933 is renowned for its traditional Bandeja Paisa, Corozo, Curuba, Ajiaco soup and the formerly banned indigenous, mildly alcoholic beverage, “chicha” made from corn. I tried some and found it “interesting”! Stop by the amazing Oh Gloria! to sample flavourful natural juices and exceptional fruits. There’s also farm-grown produce, herbs and famed Colombian coffee and cacao. Local handicrafts, souvenirs and artifacts can be found here too. I found the prices reasonable and fair together with lively banter with the vendorsWritten September 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marcela RBogota, Colombia243 contributionsThe shopping center is nice, few shops but the majority of them expensive, recommended if you have lots of money to spend...... nice restaurants and coffee, if you are going on friday please go before 12.30 otherwise you will be doing a line.....Written August 1, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marcio VSao Paulo, SP7 contributionsTHE MALL IS A BIT DATED, BUT AS A HISTORIC PLACE IT PASS.SUPERMARKET , PHONE SHOPS AND ONE DOLLAR SHOP.IF YOUR HOTEL IS NEARBY THIS MALL WILL BE YOUR CENTRAL POINT. THE BAD PART ARE MANY EMPTY STORES.Written November 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Andres RMontreal, Canada10 contributionsThe place is good for looking for new components to buy for laptops or desktops. Pre-built machines are not that good, though. Merchants are very open to haggle with you, but in that case it is better to take cash, as they dislike payments with credit or debit cards. If you happen to know a computer guy in Bogotá, ask him/her to go with you to help you finding the best place to buy.Written January 26, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bkkerZurich, Switzerland141 contributionsBoho Expo is in the middle of the Mercado de las Pulgas, just behind the Boho Food Market.
There are several stalls selling Colombian design goods as art, furniture, swimwear, sneakers, etc.
If you are looking for a great shopping opportunity, I highly recommend the place.Written January 5, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
