Brilliant way to get around town. The tickets are cheap and the cable car system is exceptionally efficient and clean. Great way to see the city.

Quite a unique spot to see, less than an hour even on the long path. Mix of eroded limestone and quite a few types of cactus as well, with deep crevices. First thing I thought when I saw entered was reminiscent of Bryce Canyon in Utah as others have mentioned. I am not sure there is too much that a guide adds to this experience, based on comments I overheard walking around, suggest you do it yourself. I was alone, but if you have a small group, really economical to get a taxi and split the cost. (I know you can get a local bus for less than a buck, but my taxi was less than $4 and that was not split.) Another option is take the cable car to the end of the green line (you need to try the cable car anyway, it is amazing), taxi is quite short from there. One more note, I was early Sunday morning, still fairly crowded and worse as the day goes on. Apparently, weekdays are better.

Impressive exhibit of ceremonial masks, unique exhibits on sacred water and numismatic! Love other smaller exhibits on textile, use of feather and plata in ceremonial clothing, and ceramics. You will need to pay extra 20BS for a photo pass to be able to take photos, although it is not strictly regulated, I would recommend following the rule out of respect.

I’d originally planned to walk here from my hotel, but my advice is don’t! I ended up getting a taxi and surprised it managed to make the steep roads, never mind how my legs would have coped! However the views from the top are stunning. It’s a large viewing area so even when busy there’s no trouble getting a prime spot and it offers true all round views of the city below. Other than a kids play area there aren’t any other facilities but it was perhaps the main highlight of the city for me.

Take your time, go VERY slowly. The view across the altiplano to Lake Titicaca, the Cordillera Real, Mt. Huayna Potosi, Mt. Illimani, and La Paz/El Alto is totally worth it!

Lots of lovely beautiful souvenir shops with a lot the same but some unique things dotted around. Cobble stones in parts and it connects to witches market.

Beautiful mountains but the people who live at the entrance are crooks who charge you to enter to visit it is a public place, they take advantage of tourists and if you don't pay they make a scandal, what a pity for Bolivia, it has so many beautiful places but the people are a disaster, they are not interested in improving tourism, they only care about stealing a few coins.

It was a good experience to me, especially with my all friends. We enjoyed the environment, with the mountains, we got a lot of photos. But the more exciting thing that we got, it was that we found people that lived in that place. They told us one leyend of the town, very interesting.
