The best layover ever, i got to see the best part of beirut on this private tour. it was really overwhelming, to see what the city has passed through in so many years. we visited the national musuem, the mineral museums, and got the chance to walk around beirut. crossed the road was tricky, you need to keep your eyes open on all directions. the best part of the tour was the boat ride at the roche rocks. my guide also suggested a nice restaurant with the view of the rocks beneath us. i'll definitely have to visit beirut again, and this time visit the other cities. lebanon is a beautiful country. sad to see what it passed through. definitely recommended.

This is probably the best (most efficient, economical, informative) way to explore Beirut. I absolutely recommend it! A couple things to maybe help you out:
    - there is only one bus in the line-up (our driver told us there used to be 3, but right now, there is only 1). Don't expect a bus to come by every 30mins like other similar tours. The tour is 2 hours.
    - the hop-on/hop-off locations are not set up on the roads other than Martyr's Square. This means that the bus ride is really a hop-on, stay-on.
    - The tour wasn't running on Monday. Not sure if this is always the case or just because there were too few people (ie; just me) for that day.
    - the start time states 10:00AM on-line, but you should email Julie at sales@citysightseeing-lebanon.com to verify. My start time was 11:00AM.
    - Julie is great. Reach out to her for anything you need regarding this tour. She has other types of tours that she can recommend as well.
Again, I definitely recommend this tour!

Tripoli and Batroun are full of history and charm. My guide, Alber, was really kind and full of the exquisite Lebanese hospitality. He really made this trip quite special.

Thank you Lebanon Tours and Albert.

Booked 3 different day tours with Nakhal including tours to Baalbek, Byblos, etc. All tours were excellent and well organised including the hotel pick and drop off. Booking via email was also smooth with prompt responses. Prices were reasonable too. Recommended.

I had a very informative tour in Beirut with a very kind guide. We strolled through several districts, including Ashrafieh, Souks, and Gemmayzeh. Georgette gives us a thorough overview of each venue. I would have missed those monuments, buildings, and street graffiti if I had not participated in this activity. Highly recommended!

Ali picked me up right on time and was very kind and helpful as we explored Tripoli. I was grateful not to be rushed and thankful that he respected the fact I did not want to stop and shop in the Souq. The train graveyard was fascinating. As it was just me on the tour, we finished very early; I appreciated the fact that Ali offered to take me elsewhere as a result and so I was also able to explore Batroun.

It was an excellent experience and a very fun time with the knowledgeable driver. He knew the places and roads as we all know the ABCs. The vehicle was extra clean and comfortable, and the tours extremely smooth. We highly recommend this chauffeur service.

Pierre was an excellent host and a great tour guide. He showed us the most important sites in Beirut and provided good information about the complicated history of Lebanon. I highly recommend Lebanon Tours Online as the best way to discover Lebanon.

We had a good time travelling around Tripoli with this tour. We loved the historical attractions. Due to sudden closure of road by the police, we skipped the port. The driver guide was flexible and he took to another scene point as replacement. We were overall satisfied. However, entrance fee was not included. We needed to take the trouble to prepare money for tickets. The tour can win higher score if necessary fees are all inclusive.

Took this tour through Beirut in the midst of the economic crisis. It was a great tour and I felt very safe. The mosque and pigeon rocks are beautiful, the National museum is very interesting and you get to know the Beirut neighbourhoods from a historical and local standpoint. My guide was Georgette Rouhana, and as I was the only one in her "group tour" she adjusted the sightseeing to me and my interests (helping me understand the historic backgrounds for a volunteering program I had before me). Georgette is very sympathetic, funny and knowledgable and apart from historical aspects she can bring you the local culture/point of views closer. She taught me some arabic, gave me many tips on how to get around in Lebanon, where to exchange/obtain money to the best exchange rate and what other attractions I should visit. She even offered to stay in contact and message her whenever I needed any advice during the rest of my stay in Lebanon. The drivers accompanying us were kind, punctual and very reliant as well (despite the lebanese gas shortages). I recommend this tour to anyone staying and consindering coming to Beirut. Its an interesting city and even in difficult times definitely worth the visit. With this travel agency you can be sure to be in the best of hands.

This is my third tour with Lebanon tours and travels. All the tours were perfectly managed and led by excellent guide. On this tour, Pierre was a fantastic tour guide. I was worried that the long day maybe too exhausting but it worked out fine. It was nice to be in a private tour for the tripoli tour. It was my favorite and the most memorable excursion so far. I can highly recommend.
