That was one of the best bazar that I've ever seen. The atmosphere was very cozy as if you are walking a bazar in Safavid or Qajar period. you can literally find anything there, from delicious street for to weird handicrafts. prices are fine BUT remember do not carry cash because the sellers do not change your cash. I highly recommend you to contact with companies that issue a tourist card such as Moneyro Group. Although this bazar is at the center of tehran but the only good way to access to it is subway. have fun

Crazy, outrageous, badly lit but it would be silly not to devout 45 minutes to this unique collection of jewels. Staff was not too eager to give us a tour and it was ok as we got more time for ourselves. Only opened afternoons 2.30 to 4.30. No photos allowed

One of the best features of Tehran. Good design of the bridge, overlooking a good view, good cafes, and connecting two public parks. The architect was a young woman who was studying her PhD at the time. It's usually bustling with life.

You will see two museums here. The Iran Bastan Museum (starting with the Palaeolithic Period and moving forward) and the Museum of Islamic Art. My favourite was the Bastan, but that’s where my interest lies. Both are large and well organised and you can easily spend half a day wandering around.

Darband looks like a natural jewel amid the hustle and bustle of a crazy metropolitan like Tehran! If you’re tired of traffic and pollution and need peace, go to Darband in the north of Tehran and enjoy the scenery and pleasant weather. There, you can go either hiking or mountaineering to Mount Tochal, take some nice photos, or have fun eating Persian food and snacks in a traditional restaurant, all alongside a river winding from the hillside to the top. Darband’s so popular among Iranians and you can have a great chance to mingle with locals there. You can also use other recreational facilities, such as a chairlift. You can reach there by bus, metro, or taxi via Tajrish Square.

We much prefer this bazaar to the Grand Bazaar and always come here for herbs, nuts, and many other delicacies. Easy to reach by metro.

The capital of Iran from 1795 is surrounded by mountains. It's modern symbol is the Azadi Tower which attracts the eyes of the tourists. Make a stop for a photo and admire the hills.

Must place to visit specially in snow season.

You have to reach Tajrish through metro. Once you reach Tajrish square (few mins walk from metro station), go towards Eram Taxi Terminal and ask for Valenjak/Tochal. They will charge you 15k tomman per head. Taxi will drop you at gate of Tochal complex from here you can walk to bus terminal (500m walk). Here you can sit on small bus for 18k tomman for locals and 50k tomman for foreigners, this will take you to chair lift area. If you don't want to take bus then there is steep walk of 1.6km to chair lift area. You can purchase tickets with respect to stations (picture for tickets attached). I suggest to use snap and ask the driver to drop you at end point (chair lift ticket area). Note: They don't take cash so ask locals to pay through card and you can pay them cash accordingly. There is cafe and washroom at station 5. Please keep your tickets safe until you reach down as they check tickets every time you sit in cabin. You can also track upto station 5 or 7.

I recently visited the Niyavaran Palace in Tehran and was amazed by the stunning architecture, lush gardens, and opulent rooms. The knowledgeable guides provided interesting insights into the palace's history and cultural significance. I highly recommend visiting this unique destination to experience Iran's rich cultural heritage firsthand.
