- Chelsea K23 contributionsIf you're trying to debate what tour is a "must-do' while in Israel, this one's the one! Absolutely phenomenal. Our guide Michael was so knowledgable and detailed about everything as well as very personable. We were fortunate with traffic the day we went so Michael was able to add a few interesting stops along the way too. This trip truly is an adventure as the name states! We crossed through rugged terrain, dipped into Oasis waterfalls, saw wild Ibex on mountainpeaks, and to end the day we relaxed floating in the dead sea in front of pools of hotsprings. The tour being in a car rather than a big tour bus made the experience far more intimate as well as allowing to travel to places busses can't go off the beaten path. On top of all that Michael provided a delicious picnic lunch prepared by himself! Samuel, our tour guide, took the three of us on a one-of-a-kind Jeep trip through the Judean desert, stopping for amazing pictures and explaining to us the historical background and regional significance of the various sights. Samuel was professional in every way, friendly and very knowledgeable. I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. This was one of several trips I had already taken with Ben Harim Tours and it certainly was another outstanding experience. - עאמר פ1 contributionWe were group of 6 , loved the mixture of the sightseeing and the off-road . Some of the sights are really monumental like Jerusalem and Masada while on the other side of the spectrum is the Holman highs wild Wild West :-)
Loved the local street good and mostly the gokedem guide for the oversight and linking history and present of this magical land. So not knowing where to begin in hunting for a reasonable, honest, flexible, thorough guide, I started on the internet. I saw Charlie the Traveler’s website and after doing some research, I may not have personally known anyone who has used Charlie the Traveler, but the reviews were exactly what I was looking for. I was able to tweak their standard itinerary, staying longer at some places, adding treks, and booking my own lodging. Upon arriving to the airport in Jordan, I was greeted by a local representative of Charlie the Traveler, ‘Sami’. I cannot praise Sami enough and Charlie for finding a guide who legitimately cared about the traveler’s experience. Sami made sure I was familiar with my itinerary Charlie’s company had prepared for me, even after all my adjustments. I never felt uncomfortable, afraid for my safety or like I was being ‘played’. Pick up and drop off times were always precise and reliable. I appreciate the care and reliability of Charlie the Traveler and his representatives. My time in Jordan was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I have Sami and his networking skills to thank for that. I will definitely use Charlie the Traveler for future adventures. I could say it was best holiday i had. Petra was my bucket list and I saw it. When I first see it I burst in tears 😭 it was amazing place. - Lisa W17 contributionsWe originally booked a tour of Masada and The Dead Sea and soon after booking Michael phoned me to chat through our adventure. The day before the trip he contacted me again to advise me that the temperature was predicted to be 43 degrees (but will feel much hotter) and that it would be a good idea to change our plans as walking around Masada would be far too difficult in the heat. He gave us several options and we decided to do this trip instead. We visited a nature reserve where we walked through a cool stream, my boy rode a camel in the desert, we visited a baptismal site and bathed in the Jordanian river within spitting distance of Jordan and we had an extreme 4wd adventure of the Judean desert which was absolutely stunning. We had a homemade picnic lunch in a gorgeous canyon (with the best lemonade and pitta fillings in the world) and finished off relaxing in the Dead Sea on a private beach. Michael was so knowledgeable about the history and politics of this beautiful country and we were lucky enough to see some jackals. He made us feel like we were touring with family and we felt safe and looked after. He was great with the kids and involved them in everything. - Jackie PSydney, Australia54 contributionsWe enjoyed an incredible day adventure with Erez touring around the magical city of Akko and then an explosive and fantastic drive in the razors. I think our guide Erez made this trip in every way. His story telling was mesmerizing and it really gave us a sense of what we were looking at together with a wonderful historical context. We both loved the off road driving in the razors. Try not to miss this dusty but action packed adventure driving through some amazing and rocky forests. During our time there he was the best driver we had. We even karaoked in the car.

His knowledge is better than any encyclopaedia, and walking in the footsteps of Jesus came alive for us, the trip turned out to be an amazing Pilgrimage for us.
Avraham's accommodating nature and flexibility took us to spots that were off our itinerary and his great relationships with the locals got us to see things and sites that others might not have access to.
His relatability with the group, stories and funny anecdotes coupled with his own brand of humour was very endearing.

SO this June, I went on a day trip with a group of friends, and we visited Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee with Kotek Tours. It was an amazing experience! The tour was well-organized and our guide David was knowledgeable and friendly. We visited many famous sites including the Church of Annunciation, and the Sea of Galilee.
