- newidadNew York City, NY113 contributionsThis is a most interesting, historic home that is very worthwhile visiting. There is so much history here but one needs to look at all the items and understand them in their context, especially the many photographs. The range of topics in his vast library is most impressive and, if interested, they can share an online catalog. We found the guides to be helpful and pleasant. - Altug71Rome, Italy1,856 contributionsNice, small museum with a good location.
Very interesting neighborhood.
The museum itself was the house of National Poet Hayim Nahman Bialik.
There is not so much to read in English, most of the things written in Hebrew.
It’s 2 floors. With some furniture of the poet himself. 6-18 years 10 shekels, adults 20 shekels. Clean bathrooms with drinking water.Written February 25, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kim GPacific Grove, CA3,741 contributionsDating from the reign of Ramesses II, 13th Century BC, when an Egyptian garrison was ensconced in this region. This partial gate ruin reflects the lengthy, historical importance of the Jaffa Port area throughout the millennia. This is one of the many ancient treasures within a relatively small area that should be searched out while you walk and explore Old Jaffa.Written November 7, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patricia P3 contributionsThe building is very interesting in itself. The top floor was about Tel Aviv but with a strong emphasis on the first Mayor of the city. I did spend a great amount of time on the zoo animal poster which was geared more for kids and occupied a large square footage of the building.Written February 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HarmonicaharoldPhiladelphia, PA1,507 contributionsI was killing time before a Philharmonic concert and popped into a Yiddish class. It was really interesting. Then I roamed the halls and found a wealth of statues, paintings and crafts that were very inspiring. I could almost hear a lonesome Klayzmer clarinet in my brain.Written February 20, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
