There is food EVERYWHERE, literally every alley your explore is more food and drinks (but that is all I Israel it seems). Plan to buy something or a few things! We did a self-guided taster tour which provided us with more food than we could eat
including many Israeli specialities.

The inside shops tend to be a bit on the expensive price, but do know you get value for your money. Very good & fresh produce.
The outside shops (from the farmers) are a bit cheaper, and also offer very fresh products. The variety you can find here is impressive, especially for the size of some shops (some can be best described at miniature shops & are often not more than a few square meters in size).
The atmosphere here when we go (on Fridays's normally) is always very good, friendly people working there & yes, you want the good produce, you come here & pay a little bit more.
There are also some nice places to eat something little around. We personally like to eat a good sandwich from Lewkowicz Charcuterie & often take some of their cold-cuts home with us.
