Yad Vashem is simultaneously educational, heartbreaking, confounding, grief inducing and profound. It is something every tourist who visits Israel must see. Upgrade to the guided tour - you won't regret it.

We spent nearly 3 hours at this museum which features a great collection of impressionist and post impressionist painters.
We were quite amazed by the number and quality of the paintings : Monet, Renoir, Pissaro, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Degas, Picasso...
The permanent collection of Israeli moden art is also quite interesting, along with the architecture of the museum and the temporary exhibitions.
There is also a cafe, with a great garden where you can have your snack , salad or pizza basking in the sun in spring or summer.

We decided to visit the Israel Museum on the Saturday that we were in Jerusalem. We thought we might spend 1.5-2 hours at the museum, and we would plan the rest of the day on the fly. We walked out of the museum 5 hours later - 15 minutes before the museum closed for the day. What a place - its a must see!

My sisters and I were greatly enriched by our experience at the ANZAC Memorial Center. Colin, a retired Australian immigrant who volunteers at the museum, was an absolutely perfect guide. Interesting, informative--and funny! He told great stories--and I happened to overhear him giving the next tour to other guests, and the stories he told were different. It made us want to go round again!!
Thanks to Colin, whenever I pass an Allenby Street anywhere in Israel, I will know exactly what that general did to help conquer Beer 7 from the Turks in WWI. If you want to know, you will need to reserve a session yourself!!

Loved this village and the wonderful storytelling of our guide, Daniel. Very good communicator, educating us on 1st century life and Jesus. Very well done and I would recommend to those in Nazareth. This is not just for kids, great for adults too!

Visited With a group of English speaking locals arranged by a local organisation AACI. They had brought in a member of the Israel astronomy Society who gave an excellent talk on the Universe and our place in the scheme of things. Made us realise how insignificant we are. We visited various areas of the Planetanya culminating in a visit to the planetarium. The Japanese garden was interesting but needed some TLC. Great interactive exhibits outside, especially for children. There is an emphasis on Japanese culture which is as it should be. This place is great for Hebrew speakers, especially children Hopefully it will go from strength to strength

The tour was amazing. Led by a blind or partially blind guide we explored seven different basic everyday experiences in complete darkness. It gave a totally new insight into the life that the blind live.

We were in the area and looking for something interesting. We were pleasantly surprised to find this fascinating museum. We were lucky that it happened to be open as usually you need to arrange it ahead of time. Yizhak gave myself and my two siblings a private tour. He was very knowledgeable and made it so more interesting with the background of how Eitan started collecting. Yizhak told us many amusing stories about some of the pieces which made it fascinating. We were very impressed that the 15 shekels entrance fee goes entirely to a donation for youth . The collection is shared with the public and also serves a good cause.

An amazing place to spend. Looked for an activity that ages 3 till 12 could participate and enjoy. When my granddaughter suggested Lunada I decided to get tickets.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. The place all in all is were cared for and clean.
Surprisingly it wasn't over crowded (maybe COVID ) during the Chanukka holiday.
Spent an amazing day from 10 in the morning till 3 PM and could have stayed longer.
Well organized and divided into many theme rooms which kept all the kids on their toes.
    Highly recommended.

An important museum to learn about the establishment of the state of Israel. You are shown how the ammunition for the Independence War was manufactured in a secret location. The guided tours are given by very knowledgable guides. Suitable for all age from 10 year olds to grandparents. Wonderful outing for the entire family. Make sure to reserve a place on the tour in advance.

This was fascinating to me as an American. It covered the history of Israel through the life of Rabin.

We visited ANU museum during Passover vacation. Booked the visit slot few day in advance.
We were welcomed by a museum guide, who briefly explained about an exposition.
Very impressive museum, explaining Jewish history in an interactive way.
Come to visit and you won’t regret.
