Great place to go horseback riding in Northern Israel. Great horses and beautiful scenery. Our guide Alex was fantastic. He made us feel comfortable and safe and made this one of the best things we have done.

We pulled in as the gates were closing. Lucky for us, the owner said she would open up, find someone to help me buy yarn. After buying the yarn we got to wander a bit and say hello to the alpacas. It was a short visit, but worth it. Alpacas have the most beautiful fleece and it makes a soft wonderful yarn in which to knit. The owners didn’t have to open up for us and she was gracious, kind, and the woman who helped us with the yarn was polite, friendly and definitely a delight. Thank you so much.

We did the one hour camel ride and stayed for the night so had dinner and breakfast in the morning. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the welcome, the camel ride (great views, they even have an app you can download with different languages explaining what you are looking at), the amazingly fresh and plentiful food (they keep offering more) and most important their friendliness. We saw them working hard feeding the camels in the morning so we asked them if we could help and they thought us what to do so we joined in. Highly recommended and a must do when in the Negev.

While visiting the Darom Adom Festival of flowers and communities down south we ordered a picnic from Tzeela dairy. We were greeted with a great basket of goodies including cheeses, quiche, olives, salad, yogurts labane and fresh bread and more. The weather was great so we sat outside, watched the sheep meander around and enjoyed the outdoors.
