- VLynn SedlundTwin Falls, ID15 contributionsEven if you are getting tired of touring all the Roman ruins, this is still a great place to visit. the best place to buy good Turkey souvenirs, too, instead of the cheap stuff outside Ephesus. With the museKart pass, you get in free.Written March 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Charlie C1 contributionA fantastic place for anyone interested in steam locomotives. Çamlik locomotive museum is set in a former locomotive depot yard. There are around 30 locomotives on display, as well as historic carriages, wagons and snow-ploughs. Entrance fee was quite reasonable at 100 lire per person (about £5.00). There is a very pleasant cafe/restaurant on site, although this might be a little expensive. We spent a good two hours exploring the museum. Children should be well supervised however, due to trip hazards, and the rather deep turntable well.Written April 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LesannliLimerick, Ireland11 contributionsWow, what an experience, found this gem on the internet a few years back and went there 2 years ago only to find it's not open on Mondays. Well my wife and I went this year and what an experience. From the minute you go in the gates is a fantastic experience, we were greeted by the daughter of the creators and were given a tour of the museum, Life size figures were so realistic especially the mechanical movements. Then the miniature section was just as good.Very educational experience for us and came out very happy to have been there.Entry fee only 10 Lira and well worth it, also deserved the tip as well. Thank you all for the great time ye gave us.Written September 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
