- Fatima ICape Town Central, South Africa325 contributionsWe booked ourselves a day trip to Sapanca and Masukiye with a tour company called LIVE LIFE TRAVEL just to get away from busy Istanbul and it was an excellent idea. Travelling together with different nationalities makes it even more interesting as you tend to see sceneries from their angle too. Very beautiful sceneries overall (except for the many stops to Specialist shops and markets to try and entice tourists to buy eg honeys, coffees,locum and jewelry,etc) but then I suppose this is a good way to ensure that businesses on the outskirts of main cities also sell their wares and so it becomes part of the tour. All of it was pure grace and Beauty in the name of God. 1. Attentive. We were truly blessed with attentive staff who met individual needs, even as an extremely large group. Whether it was ensuring we had enough water and did not get lost in the city crowds, or assisting with obtaining much desired souvenirs and visiting sites that were off-the-beaten path - there were so many moments when I was blown away by their willingness to serve. I especially enjoyed how they curated our food experience towards the second half of our trip, which left my taste buds beyond satisfied.

2. Knowledgeable. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions, often adding details and cultural context that gave me a well-rounded view into ancient and modern Turkey. I was able to get a glimpse of what life might be like for a Turk - an aspect that I personally appreciated about this tour (and one that can be difficult to achieve when part of a larger tour group).
3. Hospitable. Sunnova staff were good-natured and willing to not only lead and coordinate the group, but participate alongside as members - whether it was joining our dance invitations or participating in our many group photos. Starting as strangers and leaving as family - there was much laughter and enjoyment throughout the trip.
A special shout-out to two wonderful individuals, Ibrahim (our guide) and Mohammet, who went the extra mile to ensure that our Turkey trip was a special and memorable one.

The scenic drive offered breathtaking views, and the guide’s insights added depth to the journey. However, some might find the tour rushed due to the breadth of attractions covered in a single day. Overall, it’s an excellent way to get a taste of Uludağ’s beauty and adventure.

There will be extra costs for zip line, cable car and quad bikes.
It was a long day with not much to do. Gobeklitepe was my goal and they ensured that I had enough time to spend there. They really took time to also ensure that I got to do all the things I wanted to. - camel66Kuwait301 contributionsMy was 7 days private My tour with Sunnova Travel was 7 days private black sea tour. The route was Trabzon - Humushane - Uzungol - Rize - Ayder - Elevit. The tour included visit to some of the most popular sites in the area including Trabzon city, Sumela Monastery, Karaca Cave, Uzungol Lake, Ayder Highland, Zil Castle, Pokut Highland, Tea gardens of Rize, Ottoman Bridges and Waterfalls. The places we visited were most beautiful and the landscape is amazing, and the food is just yummy. However, what made the tour so special is the people of Sunnova Travel, they were like family, I would like to thank Alican and his wife Suzan for their hospitality, we really enjoyed touring with you and thank you for your help, also many thanks to Beyza for her delicious cooking. - Phil Z173 contributionsThe museum is an immersive video experience where you are led from room to room by a guide whilst a video plays, followed by an exhibition of various fragments and artefacts from Hagia Sophia.
The video tour itself is well made and informative for those who do not know the history of the building. The display of artefacts is more along the lines of a traditional museum and, for me, was more interesting.
All that said, the entry price is 25€ per person which, for a couple, comes to 50€ total, so is pretty expensive for what it is.
All in all, I would suggest visiting here either if you are a die-hard fan of the building and want to see the artefacts at the end, or otherwise have some spare time and cash to spend and are looking for an introduction to the building, but otherwise would suggest giving this a miss and just going straight to the building - it has an audioguide and whilst also 25€ entry, is much more worth the price.Written July 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
