What travelers are saying
- Road_warriorXTRMPhiladelphia, PA507 contributionsThis is a beautiful park located in a typical neighborhood located a few blocks off of Bagdat Cadessi just past the Marmray train line. It is perfect for families with paved biking and running paths, 1 loop is exactly 1 mile / 1.6 KM. There are children’s play areas, fountains and outdoor exercise areas for daily fitness routines. In the center of the park is a wonderful cafe with indoor and outdoor seating serving tea, other drinks and food. A perfect stop for lunch on a sunny day. On Wednesday mornings there is a pizzar for organic fruits and vegetables. I have been coming to this park for years but never thought of writing a Trip Advisor review on it, hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
One watch out is that there are many cats in the park. They essentially mind their own business unless you choose to interact with themWritten March 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Simon B204 contributionsThe park is locate on the Asian part of Istanbul.
By public transport can easily be reached by first taking a boat to Usküdar and then the Metro.
Around the Metro make sure to take the right entrance, there is a metro and train station having different entrance.
You have to take the metro to Kısıklı and then it the park is a short walk away.
For sure the park is inviting for relaxing, offering many places to sit and relax, make a Picknick and enough places for the kids to play.
On top you find Camlica tower, which still was not finished. Also there is a small mosque and café/restaurant from where you got a great view above town and islands.Written September 3, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As part of this project, Tophane Park is a mix of historic landmarks, such as the 18th-century Ottoman style Mahmud Han fountain.Written June 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Departure811861Germany1,091 contributionsThis area of the hippodrome is dominated by the obelisque of Tutmosis. Its base is so interesting that you should not pass by without studying it closely. It shows the Emperor and his family as spectators of a horse race in the Byzantine era.Written February 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
