At first my boyfriend wanted to experience the local cuisine, so we chose the Lokal Bond. It was a great time. The mother is so lovely. We enjoyed chatting and catching up. When I returned to my country, I also recommended my friends to take this course.

Thank you so much to Narjis for this incredible moment. She was so kind to us and explained the activity in a fun and nice way. We were so happy to have learned how to make turkish coffee and the fortune telling stories were very emotional to listen to.
I highly recommend this workshop and it is a nice way to meet local people and spend a good moment.
    Thank you again Narjis,
    Alizée and Max

Really worth a visit. The venue is very atmospheric and relaxing. The host was also very welcoming. We learnt a lot about the history of coffee. The fortune telling was a humorous little bit at the end. This is definitely a chilled out activity that takes you away from the holiday rush.

Very nice! It was a really interesting experience and I recommend this to anyone
who wants to see how people cook and spend time together in Turkey. Also, it's amazing how rich the food can still be when you cook vegan in Turkey. And of course the delicious recipes from Maral and her Mother are priceless, but you have to be there for that! Definitely recommendable!

This experience was great. Gülsa was a kind and good chef. She took us on a walk to buy some items, and then we went back to her house and cook together.
We have a great time, we laughed and ate delicious food

Such a nice experience helping Aysu make some breakfast dishes. She was great host and we had lots of laughs as well! The food was delicious and we enjoyed conversation with whole family. This was top experience we’ve had on our numerous trips to Istanbul.

We cannot thank Nuray enough for her hospitality! We felt very welcomed at her house… we felt very special. Nuray is very warm and engaging. We prepared three dishes: a salad with bulgur wheat, rice and lavash with seasoned beef. All three dishes traditional to Turkish cuisine… easy to make, too! But that is not where it ends… she had a full spread of mezze for our lunch: eggplant, zucchini with yogurt sauce, stuffed pepper with rice and spices, and kebab! Then, for dessert, freshly made kunefe! Everything was delicious… and we left with full bellies and a happy heart!

It's not often you get a chance to do a cooking class in a Michelin restaurant.

There was a bit of confusion with the driver telling me to get off at Sura hotel, which is across from the restaurant, with no further guidance..but just make your way to Deraliye Restaurant if you're in that situation.

The chef was not just talented but extremely also friendly and of course patient, a must when it comes to me in the kitchen. The dishes were both simple and also full of flavor.

You spend about 1-1.5 hours of cooking in total, and you're rewarded with an amazing 3-course meal at the end.
