From the first moment of contact to the goodbye hug, Shan, Dam and Saman were absolutely fabulous. The opportunity of being in control of our own travel itinerary supported by their recommendations and guidance. There was never a moment that we felt our needs were not being met. Both Dam (Smashing Tour Guide) & Saman (“Supiri” Driver) exceeded our expectations. During our tour, there was great flexibility in adjusting the itinerary to accommodate our needs. They shared with us the best of what their homeland Sri Lanka has to offer. A special detour to the ‘White House in Colombo’ too! We were sad to say goodbye as we wanted to spend more time with them, enjoying the beauty and hospitality. We felt like we were on tour with our own family. We would Highly recommend sharing our experiences with Travelers Choice to Ceylon!!

Sampath can help you plan the itenary with good advice. This was our second experience with him (earlier in November 2023) and both equally good.
Ramesh was an excellent driver. He knew all the places well and had good insights to share on the local culture and history. Very professional and soft spoken. He would be waiting for us before time and made the trip extremely comfortable for us.

Every day he made great suggestions for places to visit and made sure we got the best out of each day. The Ayurvedic massage was fabulous! Manju was always patient, helpful, punctual and a very considerate careful driver. He was always happy to stop at any time and pointed out all things of interest along the way. He was there to help us whenever we needed his help, for example when our pre-booked train tickets to Kandy were in separate carriages he made sure we were able to sit together! Nothing was too much trouble. We did take some back and forth to finalise our trip details and have it customer made to us but they were accommodating and very helpful and professional. Our guide/driver for the week was Prakash who was also very punctual, friendly and helpful. He started off with great enthusiasm but that dwindled a bit towards the end, however he did accommodate to our group and tailored the tour according to what we wanted. - Kaveena A1 contributionThe trip to Sri Lanka was pretty last minute, however safe Lanka tour managed to accommodate to most of my request, in terms of the places I’d like to visit and also the accommodation choices. They tailored routes that was more convenient and time saving. madam dilhara assisted me as much as she could and make sure the trip was a smooth journey. The driver provided for us Chamara was a young chap , very kind and lively, he was safe in his driving and made us as comfortable as he could. He took many nice pictures of us and made sure we had everything we needed within the long travels. - dars2 contributionsWe began our trip from Colombo and headed to the east coast of the country. Our driver Mr Anura De Zoysa arrived at our hotel on time for us to be picked up. He was friendly, caring and accommodating to all our needs as we were traveling with a 2yr old. He even took care of our daughter a few times when we had to step into stores or when we were having our meal. He was very knowledgeable of the roads , drove safely and knew what the fastest route was without having to use google. - Journey164990707758 contributionsWe had never been to Sri Lanka, it thus made sense to talk to locals who have all the knowledge we lacked. Best of Lanka clearly meets that requirement. They were also very responsive, listened to and accommodated all our preferences, and were very patient - because of Covid this was trip seven years in the planning and the final itinerary we agreed to was totally different as to when, where and how long from that first proposed! Using their experience they selected an excellent range of boutique hotels and exactly the experiences we were interested in. They also provided an excellent vehicle and driver - Sanjeewa.

- HutterliBaar, Switzerland2 contributionsWe returned from our 3-week trip to Sri Lanka on Saturday. We first spent 2 weeks in Matara on Polhena Beach. Even then we were very impressed by the warmth and helpfulness of the people. They always greet you with a friendly, open smile.
After that, our dear tour guide "Sri" picked us up in Matara and we set off on a week-long trip. Yala National Park, past tea and rice fields, train journey from Ella to Nanuoya, fantastic wildlife (and we even saw a leopard in Yala National Park) ... it was simply a fantastic trip all round. Well organised by "Buddhi" and his team. "Sri", our tour guide, always accompanied us and showed us his country with great enthusiasm and experience. He was not only a great tour guide but has already become a friend. Thank you very much. Pink Panther provided me with excellent service by accommodating me to view the sites I was interested in only. The tour started promptly. We went fruit sampling/shopping at local vendors and the fruit was simply yummy/fresh. I never felt rushed, I felt safe at all times, transportation provided was modern and extremely clean. The company was great about responding to any needs/concerns that I had right away. The company help me design the tour that was suitable for me. Galle is a must see while in the area. Chanaka was our driver during the tour and he was the best driver and guide we could have had. He drived very safe and helped us with good advices and translation when needed.
