- Tim H1 contributionFirst time in Sri Lanka and totally enjoyed the experience. We spent 12 days travelling the south of the country starting in Kandy and ending up back in Columbo. Galle was a real surprise and the printers hotel was sublime, a real gem with a fantastic colonial vibe. Definitely my favourite. Our guide Imwaaz was knowledgeable and took us to all the great places and was indispensable, ever the professional. Our driver Mehsan took us door to door and navigated the chaotic traffic safely. They could not have been more approachable and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for making our trip we have so many wonderful memories. We had Ashen as our driver and he was a kind, experienced driver who made us feel safe on the roads. He picked us from Srilanka airport and drove us around Nuwara Eliya, Yalla national park and Galle. He was at our service whenever we needed, and genuinely wanted us to experience as much as possible during the days we spent with him. - Padmi P3 contributionsWe had a great experience with our tour guide Jagath Chandra. He is truly amazing! He went above and beyond in making the trip enjoyable and took extra care in meeting the diverse needs of my family and daughters.
He was a safe and friendly driver and is truly a gentleman. He took us to more places on our tour than expected as he knew exactly where the great spots are.
From great music selection, travelling west to east coast, taking me to see my grandpa where he was resting, visiting cousins , uncles and aunts places, to reliable jewellery stores, he knew it all! Highlight was the elephant orphanage and washing the elephant!
Next time we come we would love to hire Jagath again!
I highly recommend Jagath, who spoke well in English and the local languages. Best tour guide ever!

Mr. Fez was always prompt in his replies and helped arranging a private driver for us in very short notice.
Suranga was very helpful and despite not having perfect English was always reliable, helpful, on time and friendly. He drove us without any issues through some crazy mountain roads without any hassle and, more than that, always gave good suggestions and great last minute tips for things to do and see, fitting with our rough itinerary. A trustworthy driver that will become your friend, I'm sure, by the end of your trip.
If you have any doubts or are just looking for a private driver for you and your family, I highly recommend reaching out to Mr. Fez. (With a little luck you may get Suranga, but I'm sure any of his other colleagues will be great as well). Thank you Mr. Fez and THANK YOU Suranga. The driver and his brother were very helpful and made our trip memorable. He was very accommodating to everyone's personal preferences with a smile on his face no matter how tiring the day had been! He helped us with reccomendations regarding food or shopping. His sunny disposition also encouraged my parents to plan a trip to Srilanka! Will reccomend SLE tours to everyone who comes! Immigration officers needs to be more friendly but here they need some customer care training very urgently.
