Most of the taxi drivers were proposed to take to this places for shopping. All the salespersons are always pushy in these type of shops and try to sell their products but you have to do bargain if you like to buy as they have always asked very high price. Mr. Faisal was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything about the stones in detail, from their origins to their unique characteristics. His knowledge and passion for gemology were evident, making the purchasing experience both educational and enjoyable.
The personalised attention I received made all the difference, especially when making such an important purchase. You can spend more than hour in this shop for searching the items you may like. Staff is very friendly, helpful and nice with tourists. Nice place to buy authentic Sri Lankan theme things. It’s worth visiting especially if you are tourist from India. I have got a best shopping experience. They pack things very neatly. I so love this shop and their principles of fair trade. I found a second Urban Island in Galle and purchase a few more time there too.
