We took a guided daytrip to Ala Archa from Bishkek with company called Kettig.kg. It started at 12 and we came back by around 6 PM. The price was about 8 euro per person, 800 som. Very fair. But I must say, the hike in Ala Archa was not easy for me. Even though we supposedly did a very easy hike of 1 km to a stone called broken heart, I struggled heavily with altitude sickness, my heart was beating so fast and my head was dizzy. The guide was also going very fast. But we decided to stop and take more breaks. On the way we met travellers who had gone to the waterfall, which is a 2 hour hike and they were very tired. You should be prepared and take lots of water and hiking sticks. I only survived the way back down because a nice person of our group held my hand, otherwise I would have gone rolling down. The path is not easy, slippery sand and stones. But, there was an easy thing to see, if you just stay near the entrance, you can easily go to the river and see it passing by in all its glory. No hiking skills needed.
