Great stop on our tour of Ho Chi Minh City. The architecture is beautiful and loved the interior as well. I purchased several small souvenirs in the shops inside and booked another tour at the booth inside. Everyone was friendly and not pushy at all.

Great performance! Keep me on the edge of my chair the whole hour. If you are in Ho ChiMinh city, go watch the show. The theater is small so even the side seatings have good view

My first skyscraper, lovely experience. You can arrive until the 49th floor with a very little cost. I suggest to visit it around sunset, all the commercial area and the skyscrapers around will sparkle of lights. The view is at 360° over the town, unfortunately the reflection of the internal lights troubles the pictures and you need to writhe in order to find the right spot.

Had a great selection of street food. The prices are slightly marked up but it makes up on the choices. The drinks especially had a wide variety of types especially beers.

Nguyen Hue Street is the heart of the city. Long avenue that connects Ho Chi Min Square and City Hall to the river.
A place for thousands of people to walk, surrounded by bars and restaurants, it is worth a visit.
At night and on weekends we find street artists, musicians, jugglers, and a whole crowd of people.

The heart of the city. Beautiful square with the City Hall as a backdrop, a beautiful building from French colonial times.
The square is a place for walks and meetings for countless people (tourists and Vietnamese)
Here are the stores of big luxury brands
At night it is particularly interesting with the lighting and is closed to traffic

Pity they cathedral is covered in building material. Will be great I am sure once the build is finished. We could see it will be beautiful. We walked around the area which was nice.

Normally I don’t like traditional spectacles like dances or puppets, but I must admit that this one has been funny and pleasant, do not miss it during your stay in Saigon. Just a note, the sits are quite uncomfortable for tall or sturdy people.

We, family of 2 adults and an eight year old, spent a day here and had a fun time. We only went into the theme park and didn’t go to the waterpark or the zoo. We paid for the basic entry plus unlimited ‘train’ travel and already knew from reviews that we’d pay extra for each individual attraction. We didn’t tally our costs for the day because, compared to an Australian place like Luna Park, it’s going to be relatively affordable. Our favourite attraction was the Crocodile Farm where we paid 5000 to feed crocodiles meat on a fishing line. We also enjoyed the fish foot massage, the dodgem cars and a little ‘plane’ type ride. The ghost house and Harry Potter castle were too dark for my daughter, and the Snow Castle was one big accident waiting to happen 😀. The train rides were fun. We ate simple food at the food court and thought it was fine and affordable. We lowered our expectations before we went but all had an enjoyable day out and I’d recommend it. Staff were polite, lines were non-existent. As per other reviews, it was very quiet, however this was one thing we enjoyed. Most/all attractions were covered by shade and so it made for a cooler day out.

Located across from the cathedral and lined with tall trees, the lack of cars makes the road a nice place to walk. Browse book shops, get a bite to eat or coffee, or all of the above.

Vincom Centre is your usual shopping mall. We've seen better malls but it's ok...all the named brands etc. The best part of this mall is the basement which we missed on the first visit. The basement is filled with good restaurants. We had the BEST Tom Yum shrimp soup ever in a Thai restaurant - can't remember the name but its in a corner. Overall the Thai food was great. There are other very good international restaurants as well in the basement of Vincom Centre.

Great shopping centre with good variety of shops but I’ve realised as an Australian it is not worth doing retail shopping here. Every single brand is cheaper in Australia. This is the third shopping centre I have visited & each one is the same.

The sale stuff is more on par with Australia.

Lovely open space for much needed respite from the busy roads of the city. Lots of locals and groups of schoolchildren spending time together.

The automated prompt in this review dialog box suggested I say that the views are amazing - and they are. So you probably want to stay here for that reason. I got an upgraded room on the 61st floor, a corner room with sweeping views of downtown Ho Chi Minh City and the Saigon river. I would request the same on my next stay - a south facing room with the "postcard in the sky" effect. But you can also go to one of the sky decks on the Marriott floors such as the 66th floor Oriental Pearl restaurant, to see pretty good views. The big observation deck upstairs isn't part of the Marriott lease.

Also, if you're staying here chances are you are a Marriott Bonvoy member like me and would rate the Landmark to the other Marriott choices in Ho Chi Minh City and compare the service and other standards to Marriott properties around the world. On both counts it rates pretty high with me. It's modern and elegant like the Le Meridian but over here you get the views and at the Le Meridian you get stuck in the elevator with business conference people wearing lanyards like it's still the 1990s.

If it is your first time in Saigon you won't get the real Vietnam experience at this property since it sits in the middle of an Eco-Smart City but as someone who lives here this was a great escape from the hustle and bustle and motorbike traffic of downtown.

Other Bonvoy members used to put this place down for the lack of decent food at the club lounge but there is a new executive chef, Radi, who seems to be making all of the right choices. There is a fully stocked, full-service bar and a curated menu of buffet choices that are like small plates at a gastropub. I can't order an old fashioned at many of the other Marriott club lounges without showing the bartender the recipe on Google. Here the bartender put one together in minutes and it was a drink I would have paid $12 for at the restaurant upstairs. And ask if they're serving the beef stew!

The name of the club lounge manager who checked me in is Brian Vo. The Marriott seems to have trained him well as he's doing the job properly with a personality that's a good mix of eager and earnest. The club lounge manager can make or break your stay if you're used to the Bonvoy Elite upgrades so way to go Brian - keep it up!

The Sheraton is still my favorite as they have the best club lounge maybe in the whole United States of the Marriott. And it is right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. But others might find it a bit dated and too businesslike. I will come back here now and then for sure, not only to escape the city but also for another round of old fashioned and the beef stew.
