This was THE experience of Ho Chi Minh City for my girlfriend and I. We had high expectations based on reviews and they were exceeded, and here's why:
We tried so many different types of food, which was awesome (I eat loads and was very full by the end), but the best bit was that our guides, Quyen and Lai, explained how the food was made and gave us a real insight into each type of food, so that we gained a real cultural understanding of the Vietnamese food scene in Ho Chà Minh.
On top of this, Quyen and Lai made a real effort to communicate with us, to get to know us and to ensure that our experience was nothing less than amazing.
We never waited more than 5-10 minutes for food at any of the stops which just shows how well organised the business and tour was.
The other thing that left is extremely satisfied by the end of the tour was that we got to ride around a large part of the city. They rode extremely safely (always with helmets), and we got to explorw parts of the city that we otherwise would've never seen.
We went to 4 different districts throughout the tour and of course, the guides explained in detail why each spot was special.
Such a well-organised tour with great food, super attentive to dietary requirements/allergies, very punctual and of course very friendly.
Oh, and the food was amazing!
Cannot recommend this highly enough. Pay the extra dollars to experience Street Food Man.
It's worth every penny.
