This place is on the skirt of HCMC, I thought was a real farm, is more like a big garden , which is good to provide you with the experience of picking your own vegetables. The place is nice and clean and everyone was very nice.

Making egg coffee was a great experience! I learned how to make the traditional Vietnamese beverage from scratch, and it was even better than I expected. The instructor was very friendly. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone interested in learning more about Vietnamese coffee culture.

This cooking class was fabulous from beginning to end. Quy gave us a tour of the fresh produce and fresh seafood market Then we went to Mai Home for our culinary class. We learned techniques, were taught presentation, prepared food then enjoyed eating our food. Quy is a kind and good instructor. I highly recommend Mai Home The Saigon culinary arts center

This course had me leaving with goosebumps, what a wonderful experience.
Warm atmosphere as soon as I walked in and all staff are incredibly courteous.
My course was well worth it, so interesting hearing how egg coffee came to be, my instructor Giao was enthusiastic and charming about Vietnamese coffee.
Now I'm left with the knowledge and power to make my own at home.
Well worth it, and more importantly thank you for having me. 😀

This was a great experience from beginning to end, It was very informative not just about Vietnamese cooking but also about the ingredients in the fields which go to make the food so delicious, We enjoyed the trip out to to countryside with our small group, the amazing authentic market visit, the foraging on the organic farm and then the cooking experience itself. It was simple and easy to follow and very well organised. My husband who is not a cook, was dubious before we set off but had a very enjoyable day. Thank you Alice and HCM Cooking

This was one of the highlights of our trips. Alice really made the day special and her enthusiasm never faulted. The whole experience was so well put together - from the cooking course in the morning, where we picking our own ingredients (whilst learning their properties) and then prepared and cooked our own 4 course meal .... and of course ate it (delicious!) ! To our afternoon at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Excellent day - thanks, Alice. Would definitely recommend this day to anybody!

WOW, this was so much more of an incredible experience than I ever thought it would be! My tour guide, Linh, was funny, thoughtful, and so knowledgeable. Because he knew my interest in herbal medicine, he made sure to spend extra time teaching me about the plants and their medicinal properties.

The cooking was SO FUN, and the food was incredibly filling. I have many dietary restrictions (gluten free , dairy free) and they accommodated every request to make sure I was able to be without worry!

The mushroom growth process was fascinating , and I can tell this cooking school and farm is filled with love and passion to make the world a better place!

If you love coffee, you have to take this class to learn and appreciate Vietnamese coffee history and culture. Kieu taught us the commonly used brewing methods in Vietnam plus the evolution of their coffee culture and drinks in Vietnam. If you are vegan, good news, the coffee beans used are not roasted in butter. Let them know you are vegan though because they include honey and dairy in the ingredients to be used so they can swap it with alternatives.

Our tour guide “Big Dave” , from VIP Tours, made our tour so much more enjoyable. He is a fun person which interacts a lot with the group. He made us feel safe.
He gave us very useful information about Ho Chi Minh and about the various places which must be visited.
Overall, I highly recommend “Big Dave” (a.k.a David or as the locals call him “Mr. Handsome” )

This was a really full trip! We have been on many excursions and this one had the most to do. First, we were picked up in a new minivan with comfy leather seats. We were driven to Can Tho and got into a boat that took us to the floating market which was really all I expected. But this was like a huge food tour! 1) Had lunch and drinks brought to us by vendors on boats. 2) toured a boat selling pineapples and ate fresh pineapples 3) went to an over water shop that makes pandas noodles - tried snacks and toddy palm drinks. 4) boated into Mekong canal and had a variety of fresh fruits 4) walked to a cacao farm and had iced chocolate 5) drove to the deep countryside where you could smell fresh rice from the rice fields. Walked to a local house and had a huge amazing lunch. Shout out to our great tour guide Dai who was super sweet and knowledgeable!!
