Although it is a market, food prices are too expensive compared to restaurants. The food is not handled cleanly, the seller is not friendly.

This is the sanitized version of a street food market - nice variety of stalls with a great mix of food. Seating area has music and overlooks the street is a great opportunity for people watching. Pricing is more than actual street food but still competitive

Just bought some souvenirs and north face bags (fake but high quality) here. Easy to haggle, as a person in the Philippines, haggling is our expertise.

Want to learn how I did it?

First, ask for the price then cut it in half. If they refuse, go somewhere else then repeat the process. You can even haggle more than 50% off if you tell then you'll buy more items in their store.

    😉 👌

Vincom Centre is your usual shopping mall. We've seen better malls but it's ok...all the named brands etc. The best part of this mall is the basement which we missed on the first visit. The basement is filled with good restaurants. We had the BEST Tom Yum shrimp soup ever in a Thai restaurant - can't remember the name but its in a corner. Overall the Thai food was great. There are other very good international restaurants as well in the basement of Vincom Centre.

very nice upscale mall. gorgeously decorated for upcoming New Year. fantastic food court in the lower levels. I only deducted a star because the shops were all high end and it didn't have anything priced at a more normal or low level.

1)This is a popular site included by MOST Tour groups.
2)The location is slight away from main city centre, situated in CHOLON, HCMC. China Town.
3)The shops are mainly WHOLESALE Basic, offering: Clothings. Fruits. ...etc; some even refused to retail Buys !!
4)Less crowded than BEN THANH MARKET, and lesser items on offer; NO shopping Malls within walking distance !!
    5)Visit it for exposure !!

Diamond Plaza is a huge centrally located modern shopping mall. It's set in the very center, just behind the Notre Dame Cathedral.
Mall is pretty average with mostly high end stores but it was a good option to escape the rain outside. Food court is diverse but we didn't try it considering it a heresy against thousands of authentic restaurants around.

I have just visited this gallery, the store seems very cozy and clean, the painting are phenomenal, it quite pricey tho, however the quality looks great. Staff is very nice and diligent. Will come back in the future if i have a chance.

A big clean modern mall in HCMC
A good place to shop with reasonable prices.
Huge Korean style grocery store with everything you would need.
Only problem is that it is about a 40 min cab ride from district 1 or 2
Beware that there are several smaller AOEN MALLS in HCMC so make sure your have the cab driver go to the right one

Lots of stalls selling clothes, souvenoirs, bags, shoes, food. Be ready to bargain and walk around before you decide to buy

Heaps of clothes for cold weather and larger sizes, bags, jeans and some different clothes styles but you have to be prepared to work for it as it is tightly packed!!
