    Great Concept
    A great way to spend a Saturday. Atmosphere is fantastic with some cool music. Drink and food prices are cheap too.

    Review of: The World of Heineken
    Sunset drinks!
    Extremely good value for money. I wish I would have known that you could purchase this as an add on to the Sky view ticket, however never the less, the ticket worked out to be about £7/8 GBP per person which was really good value. I came here on my birthday evening, and we came to the 5:30pm tour. The host was friendly, and informative walking around, and we had free time in each room as well, including pouring your own beer and becoming a DJ. The food which was meant to be included was out of stock, and the virtual headset due to COVID was out of action, so we were given an extra beer token and 2 cans to take away with us, as well as a named beer bottle which was a nice touch. The views over the city in the evening are really nice for sunset. Recommended.

    Review of: Ong Cao Craft Beer
    An oasis of Craft Beer and Cider
    Bui Vien can get really crazy busy at the weekend especially, and all that noise and crush of people can be too much, but Ong Cao is a lot calmer and not as noisy. These guys really know their craft beers and ciders, and we went here a couple of times during our stay in Ho Chi Minh. When you've been drinking the local Saigon beer, the prices here seem a little high, but it's well worth it for the quality of the beer. The staff are also really friendly, and obviously have a passion and knowledge for craft beers. Well worth a visit. I also loved that the glasses were all branded with the beers you were drinking, and you had a matching beer mat too ... perfect for instagram!!

    Good food, great atmosphere, best music. The live band is outstanding, lucky we don't have to pay a cover for them. amazing.

    Review of: Chill Skybar
    Expensive Drinks, Great View
    The Chill Skybar is an experience! There is a sky bar in most Asian big cities, and I have been to many of them. The group I was with arrived on schedule during happy hour were drinks were half price, however drinks (Chillacolada) at 180K VND during happy hour is still very expensive. The view is great, and provides many photo opportunities for the traveler. My recommendation is go during happy hour for a drink and a few photos!

    Another one bar in Saigon
    Nice bar not far from touristic district. We tasted only drinks. Cocktails from 7 to 10 dollars.

    Terrific View over Ho Chi Minh City
    By Vietnam standards, the drinks are a bit on the expensive side; however, for a view over the surrounding Ho Chi Minh City, it is well worth the price. A lively bar with a terrific view.

    Review of: Below - Whisky Den
    Favorite Bar in Saigon
    This was my first non-touristy real cocktail bar in Saigon. I thought it was fantastic. The ambience, location, service, music, and especially the uber-innovative signature drinks were all excellent. The amazing bar manager Kata gave me a list of about a dozen other great cocktail bars to try around town. I went to all of them over the course of four months, came back to Below Whiskey den, and confirmed that Below is the best, and not only because it was my first.

    Review of: Apocalypse Now Bar
    Late Night Drink
    This was close to our hotel so used it a couple of times as a last drink before bed.
    Large club, it was never too busy but was very noisy. There is a garden area where you can get away from the noise, did not get bothered by working girls and everyone was friendly.

    Review of: Rex Hotel Rooftop Bar
    Good View
    Saw lots of news reports from here during the war. Now it's just a nice rooftop bar with good views - of the former CIA Station (from which the helicopters took off at Saigon fell), of the pedestrian street (including HCM statue below) and of the Saigon skyline. Worth visiting for the vicarious nostalgia.

    Review of: Whiskey & Wares
    Became a regular my first visit roughly 2.5 to 3 years ago.
    I've been a regular here since the first night I stopped in, ordered, drank, asked for the bill...and realized I'd forgotten cash and card at home and wouldn't make it back to pay before they closed.

    Derek, the owner/proprietor, smiled it off, and said I could come back whenever to clear my tab up. I came the next day because the service was excellent, the drinks were large, the whisky was good, and the prices the best in the city--literally--for the quality of whisky. The staff are friendly and helpful, it's a comfortable, nice-looking, cozy spot with an amiable crowd of regulars.

    I've never been a regular before and cannot imagine I will be anywhere else in Saigon because...why bother with a lesser spot?

    If you ever come in, and someone is sprawled across the one 4-top with laptop, pens, notebook, drink, and maybe delivery...come say hello.

    Review of: Carmen Bar
    The best
    We went here as part of a Vespa tour, no idea what to expect. We passed through a hobbit door (if you have been, you understand) and emerged into what seemed a different dimension. There were 3 singers performing and I was utterly blown away by the first singer... trouble was it only got better, there was a lady whom they referred to as Ms Victoria from Cuba, I could have listened to her perform all night, she was just that good. If you have a chance, go you will not regret it.
