The staff was very nice and helpful.
They have a shower room too but you have to bring all the essentials - towel, soap, shampoo.
All in all it was a fun experience as a first time boulderer(?). Couldn't make it past the Grade 3 though, since I felt it was designed for foreigners, most stuff I could not reach haha. We had all our own gear we had taken over. Phong was a fabulous guide. Knowledgeable, kind and always polite. We enjoyed his company a lot and can highly recommend him. If you are thinking of doing this trip just do it. We had a great time. Mr Phung is THE one and only original motorbike shop for rental/buy/sell. He has been doing this for 25 years. To my knowledge is the only business that is locally run by a Vietnamese person. He might not be able to give you a tech-savy, perfectly printed PDF or google map route on where to drive, but you can find that all over the web anyway. What he can do however is provide extreme flexibility and the best customer service. Need the new tire in the middle of nowhere? No problem: he has got you covered. Need inside knowledge on how to cross the border to Laos or Cambodia? He knows the local tricks. Do you want to return your bike in a random place, because of an emergency back home (like I had to)? No problem: he'll find some local transportation company and will even arrange with them that you can drop off the bike even outside the operational hours of that company.
I rented a Honda 250cc CRF dirt bike which you cannot really find, as far as I know in other places. The others all have 150cc XRs, and unless you don't know how to drive a motorcycle, the 250cc is so much better for heavy terrain while also having a bit more power and comfort on the easier roads and highways.

Tommy was extremely responsive and helped me create a 2 day itinerary that covered all the places we wanted to visit. The pickup at our hotel was seamless and our tour guide, Ms. Thao, was very knowledgeable, communicative and friendly. I requested specific locations for lunch and dinner which they were also able to accommodate. It was our first visiting to Ninh Binh and this was our favorite part of our trip to Vietnam. - Julia W46 contributionsWe rented bikes for three weeks and explored North Vietnam including the Ha Giang loop. We did initially plan a rough route but Bin the owner gave us some excellent recommendations and we changed our plans. The bikes we rented were perfect for us and were extremely reliable and easy to drive. - Tomasz K1 contributionI'd like to recommend Rentabike Vietnam , me and my friends rent four Honda XR150s to spend over two weeks on motorbike trip.
We spend amazing time in journey from north to south , our trip has based on - The best North to South routes in Vietnam Ultimate Route maps but we add and we've did also Ha Giang loops.
The maps are available on Rentabike website , are very helpfull whilst the journey planning.
The Rentabike staff in Hanoi is very friendly,professional and helpful.
Our trip has ended in Ho Chi Minh , RAB staff pick up our bikes directly from our hotel , it was very convenient for us.
All our bikes worked very good during our amazing journey , we've not any problems, so I can also recommend Honda XR150s.

If you have your own bike and are looking for an reliable English speaking workshop to service and maintain your bike then definitely check out VIP. Andrew looks after his Vietnamese mechanics and ensures they take good care of your bike. They are extremely helpful and will help you in anyway they can. - Adriano Piekas7 contributionsA guy from this store went to the hostel where I was to show me the motorcycle. He seems to be a nice guy and also give you some informations. But he is a good actor, don't get fooled. Do not make business with them as I did. That's why I'm writing, to alarm you.
I paid 250 USD for a motorcycle that was supposed to be trustable. However, after driving 300k, I had to change the shock absorber (40 USD more). The oil was leaking all the time and the front wheel was off-axis. Really dangerous.
I have never been so scammed in my life. I was supposed to finish my trip in Ho Chi Minh, but the motorbike was falling apart in Da Nang.
