This tour managed to pack in a lot to one day, due in part to the early start to beat the rush. I really enjoyed the variety of activities provided in this tour from hiking for views over Tam Coc ( this was pretty scrambley as you reached the top) to cruising along through caves and steep mountain gorges in your own boat. After a generous Vietnamese lunch (Vegetarians well catered for) the highlight of the tour was to get off the beaten track and take to our vespas.
All the time, Chris was able to provide in-depth knowledge on all topics ranging from food to burial ceremonies. He used humor to connect with the guests and was on hand to help and take pictures.

You stay in a bungalow home stay which is essentially a glorified hostel. Everyone on the trip was lovely and the views were beautiful (though we missed the ones higher up because of clouds). The food and accom was fantastic!
