We went to CGV Vincom Ba Trieu to see a Hollywood movie. Due to timing, we had to go to the VIP theater which was really expensive in the local context - but about on par with western prices - 300,000 Vietnamese dong/ USD 12.50. The chairs are really comfy and come with blankets and supposedly with all-you-can-drink tea and coffee. Both were good but very sugary. Even asking for coffee and tea with NO sugar came back sugary. My only complaint was that no one ever responded to our calls (using the call button) to refill our drinks. I know...the world has bigger problems. But, since the standard movie tickets cost closer to USD 3 - paying USD 12 means that the customer can demand a bit more.

Great prices (especially when you join the club) and you can take your drinks in with you. - Anissa ZTegucigalpa, Honduras270 contributionsSo...... yeah, no. This movie theater doesn't even have normal popcorn. Only caramel and cheddar cheese. Wtf. And they only let you in when the time says on your ticket. So I'm here 15 min. Early and I'm sitting in the "waiting room". They don't even have NACHOS. A movie theater staple. I'm NOT happy so far.
They have a sign saying what you can't do in the theater.... one is no gum chewing.
LolI'm sitting in a "VIP" chair, but I don't know why it's a VIP chair. Looks like every other chair except further from the screen. Even the theaters in America were better.
And before anyone says that I'm in Vietnam, I shouldn't expect the same snacks as in America, I lived in the Middle East and they had all the normal movie theater snacks that America does and more. Tokyo had normal snacks too, but I didn't get any there because the movie itself was like a million dollars. Lol
