The guide Mu was smiling, she always asked how I was feeling, all praise for her. The accommodation was great, also the staff, the food was excellent. The rooms are beautiful with ensuite that has a spa, seperate dressing area and a big window to watch the scenery as you go by. There are several outside decks and a pool. The food was excellent, as was the service by the staff. The day tours were sooo much fun and very informative of the local area. The scenery, cave and waterways were wonderful. This was one of the coolest travel experiences I’ve had, and they made everything so easy for us - they were incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful, and made us feel safe! The kayaking was a real highlight as was the cycling tour to a local village.
Our guide, Hai, was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and a joy to be around. And a big shout out to Lucas for his friendly service and hospitality! We specifically opted for a boat tour that ventured to Bai Tu Long Bay instead of Halong Bay, seeking a quieter and less crowded experience. The views were breathtaking without the crowds. The fishing village offered a unique glimpse into local life, kayaking around the islands was enjoyable, and exploring the cave and beach area was fascinating (although swimming wasn't an option).
The meals were exceptional, with a generous buffet for lunch, a luxurious five-course dinner, a light breakfast, and a brunch before we departed.
Catba National Park is a paradise for nature lovers. The hiking trails offer breathtaking views, the caves are magnificent, and the park is home to rare and endangered species. Quang Huy (and his partner Duyet) was veeery good at his job. VERY nice, good guide, good at english and in general very welcoming. We saw so many cool Things, like china town, boattrips, waterfalls and much more. Only in 2 days.

Pick up from Hanoi to Sapa took about 5-6 hours with two stops. Had lunch at a restaurant provided by the tour. Our tour guide Cat was amazing. Acknowledgeable the area. Her communication skills and English is enough for me to understand. She went out of her way to include other three villages (Y linh, Lao chai, and Ta van) since we’re ahead of schedule with Cat Cat.
