Lucky was extremely knowledgeable and great to chat to. Before starting the tour he asked us what Vietnamese food we had already tried, and went out of his way to introduce us to new dishes. Our favourites were the fish rolls and mixed noodles with fish! Very grateful that we were able to try such interesting foods from vendors that we wouldn't have been able to find by ourselves. Even though visibility wasn't the best due to fog (which is to be expected during winter months), we still really enjoyed the villages, rice paddies and country side we walked through. We got to see traditional music and dance in Cat Cat village, which was a particular highlight. Our tour guide Khu was a wealth of local knowledge being from a village herself, she even managed to keep us standing through slippery conditions! There is a 10mins rest stop where you can get something to fill your stomach. The view was amazing. Our family had a great time together. We took the speed boat which was added before kayaking.
