Highly recommend! Each couple (you can come alone, with your friend, partner, kid, etc) gets a personal, local kayak guide who paddles the boat and gives you specific information about each destination. Our guide Ritt was an expert and knew how to get the monkeys to come, how to call birds, and where the best sights were.
You visit two limestone-cliff islands and paddle through caves to get to Jurassic Park/Avatar lagoons surrounded by jungle & geologic splendor. You may see wildlife. Spectacular views & swimming. 30 minutes or so where you can paddle on your own. We ended up being really glad that we had a guide paddle for us because we got to fully relax and take in the experience.
Delicious, generous, tame food. lunch, snack time, and dinner. You can bring beer onto the boat and stash in their large cooler.
CLAUSTROPHOBIA WARNING: some of the caves you pass through require you to lay flat in the boat and the ceiling feels like it is 6 inches from your face. Doesn’t last long but my partner had a hard time with it. Worth it for her but maybe not for others.
Spacious main boat with extremely scenic ride that is pleasant and quick from pier to destination.
Environmentally minded crew & organization provide abundant water from glass recyclable bottles, and pick up trash in the water.
2 main guides who address the full group by providing information about the area and the tour. Their English is good but the main tour guide was often hard to understand over the PA system.
